This Song is from 1993, Angels Cry album. First lineup, classic. That was Kiko Loureiro (now in Megadeth) on guitars (and also Rafael Bittencourt that still in the band till today). The singer was Andre Matos, a true Brazilian legend who sadly passed away last month at 47 from a heart attack. Thanks for the video!

Heavy Metal lost his Maestro. Pianist, orchestra maeatro, lyric singer, spoke 5 language. The guy was a genius. Created Viper at 14 and at 16 was already well known in the metal scene, left to finish his music studies, then co-created Angra and the band represents a generation in Brazil. Thought it wasnt enough and left the band to create another huge band: Shaman. Shaman's Ritual was one of the best album in Power Metal history. Everything the guy touched was a sucess. Como tive a sorte de conhecer André em 1998 . Era sim , estonteante um show do Angra com o André , era incrível a total entrega do André no palco !!! E eu vi o show em um pub daqui de BH . Puro sucesso no Japão e aqui , quase ninguém conhecia . Eu na verdade sempre achei espantoso , pelo pouco reconhecimento de tudo de perfeito , intenso e magestoso que André nos trazia .......

André Matos (singer) "almost" was in iron maden back them. He was 3th place in the iron maden vocalist contest after Bruce Dickinson drop out. By that time (and a few years after) he was always among the best metal vocalists in the world by metal magazines worldwide. Its not a surprise that he get friend with the most knew vocalists in the world, such as Andy darris (helloween), Tobias samet (edguy, avantasia) etc. There's even a enterview when Fábio Lione (now Angra and rhapsody of fire) speaks about how good André Matos is.

If I were to guess, I would say "Carry On" is probably the most known Angra song. It is the second track from their first album, but it is the first song the band really plays, since the album starts with a symphonic instrumental called "Unfinished Allegro", that serves as an opening for this song. Try listening to both, it's really nice :). The album came out in 1993, the singer is André Matos and the guy with the pink guitar is indeed Kiko Loureiro. (the sign you saw on the background, with the number 89, was actually the name of a radio station that supported that concert). Also, don't worry, there are lots of great songs still. My recommendations today are: "Unholy Wars", "Judgement Day" and "Heroes of Sand", all of them from the album "Rebirth".
