Angra is a Brazilian band with over 30 years of career and together with Sepultura they are the best known around the world for heavy sound. the band has gone through 3 member formations over the past 30 years with 3 different vocalists. His musical references to create the band as said by the first vocalist (Andre Matos) are Helloween, Queen, Iron Maiden, Queensryche among others. all phases of the band are good, my favorites are with Andre Matos, who passed away in 2019. Note: listen to the solos of a guy called Kiko Loureiro who nowadays plays in a band called Megadeth by a guy named Dave Mustaine.

Angra is the band that inspired many metal bands around the world, it always had great musicians (Kiko Loureiro guitarist was hired for Megadeth). First album is turning 30 this year. Unfortunately Andre Matos (1st vocalist) passed away, but his legacy in the world of metal will live forever!! Great reaction.
