Listen to your blue-clad wretches yelling of courage and honour, courage and honour, courage and honour. Do you even know the meaning of those words? I personally don’t believe he made a direct deal with chaos, as he planned to betray them and keep his sons to himself. Both out of love (because he did have that) and to keep humanity from dealing with chaos primarchs. However the gods throwing them onto planets and corrupting them I see as big E realizing he was going to be unable to save all of them and thus if someone was beyond saving he treated them like shit.

@@pathfindersavant3988 I honestly think it’s moreso that Russ is by far one of the best combative Primarchs, he typically doesn’t actually like to kill his fellow primarch however, like he could have killed Angron by being defensive in his fighting style but he wanted to teach Angron a lesson, which he did but it wasn’t taken to heart. Same thing with Magnus, also even with a Magic Spear this is the Horus that almost killed Big E and he damn near killed him(although I believe the Sanguinius theory more) that can’t be taken with a grain of salt because he ALMOST killed that Horus

Turns out, the story of the Primarchs being the Emperor's sons is just that. A story, told to soothe the masses, like so many other stories told by the Imperium's propagandists. The Emperor on the Golden Throne is little more than the rotting corpse of a dictator, and like all dictators throughout history, he used his position and power to abuse all around him and further his own ends. He twisted the very genetics of humanity into the super-human Primarchs and their Space Marines, manipulated them into leading his armies of conquest, and his concealment of the true nature of reality and Chaos left _so_ many of the Primarchs _undefended_ against its temptations. The Emperor is no god. He was but a man. And like all men, he made _so_ many mistakes during his life. Unlike all other men, however, the Emperor's power and reach gave his mistakes much graver consequences for all of humanity. _The Ordo Hereticus would like to know your location._ _The Ordo Redactus would like to know your location._
@tilly42733 жыл бұрын
@@LexYeen The emperor is a literal actual amalgamation of humanities will to survive. Without him humanity would have been harvested by gross ass space elves as slaves or eaten by daemons. He was fighting an enemy that grows more powerful and has more influence the more aware people are of it. If no one knows about chaos and no one prays to chaos related entities then chaos pacifies and goes back to being a reflection of the collective psyche of life, an endless dreamscape of kaleidoscope perception. The chaos gods would cease having names, and go back to just being representative forces. But its 40k, and were all going to die. There is no good end, so regardless of whatever complicated overarching plan the emperor had that involves all these little maniplations and large scale atrocities, the end is all things cease. But that's the point, we're all gonna die, its all over before it began, a forgone conclusion. So die fighting, because there is nothing else to do.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that Angron is inspired by Spartacus. Angron's father figure, Oenomaus, is directly named after one of Spartacus's co-generals in the rebellion. The suffering, sure Slaanesh loves that *_ALOT_* , but with the original creators of the Nails _deleted_ the suffering now is kinda no different from just normal combat pain: ceaseless, all-consuming and meaningless other than for the glory of battle, the kind of pain that Khorne likes. And given how the Nails are archeotech, the kind that gave *Malcador* _a hard time_ understanding, I'm confident that the Nails ensured that the pain and suffering is one that's only similar to war, battle, murder and bloodshed.

Interesting note, due to nature of the Butures Nails, Angron likely halluscinated his people still living when the Emperor took him from the planet. Because of those nails corrupting his mind, his people were likely already dead when the Emperor found him EDIT: Thought i remembered hearing this somewhere, still might be from 40k theories though i couldnt rediscover it. This might just be a thought of mine given the psychological break Angron suffered during his revolt. This could also be backed by the fact that while still very flawed morally bankrupt, this goes against the character of the Emperor pretty severely as it would single out Angron as being treated especially terribly. As example, even with Magnus, Lorgar, and Mortarrion, soms of the primarchs arguably treated the worst next to Angron himself, Magnus enjoyed a very personal and familial relationship with Emperor which included him offering redemption to him (covered by Wolflord Rho in his fate of magnus reunion with the emperor), Lorgar was only punished for his piety after multiple acts of leniancy and patience ibcluding warning and explicit s3cularism before the Emperor finally took drastic action, and finally even Mortarrion was given a chance to accomplish his goal during their first meeting and was then saved after failing to kill his firmer master/adoptive parent. For the Emperor to do this to Angron alone is out of character if taken wholly at face value, but given its perspective coming from Angron and the world not being put under him afterward reeks of the manipulation of the dark age of technology.
