Hard session to watch after the one yesterday except for Dolan-Price. The first match was a catastrophe, mainly because Suljovic purposely slowed it down. I really liked Suljovic a while ago but doing that makes him quite unlikable. And also, it did not even help him, he played a lot better after he quit waiting so long to throw(especially staying at the table for so long). Huge credits for Baggish, I am really looking forward to see him getting a tour card, might turn out to be a quality player in the De Sousa- Ratajski Range of players.

As much as I respect Gary Anderson's game, and I like to watch him play, especially when he's flowing really well, it's very frustrating to listen to him complain like a crybaby, about all these things that only affected him, because he wasn't playing well. To me, if you win or lose, you shake the person's hand, and walk off the stage. If he loses that match, people might say that he has a legitimate complaint, even though Mensur did nothing wrong. Gary won the match, and he still had a thousand complaints, and it just doesn't make any sense. Don't blame other people, or other microscopic little things, just because you're angry at yourself for how poorly you played. Mensur didn't do anything that broke any rules, and it's not like Gary hasn't dealt with that from him before. Look at how many times he's played Justin pipe, and also had to contend with that. If you're going to threaten to walk away from the sport, just because someone didn't play to a pace that you're comfortable with, then maybe you're better off going into retirement. No one wants to see you cry like a two-year-old, because you didn't get your way. Not everyone plays fast, but not everyone plays slow. Get yourself back up in the rankings a bit, and then you won't have to deal with someone that can get under your skin that much, until you're more comfortable with your own game, and deeper in the tournament.
@floriankemmerling21324 жыл бұрын
Of course Suljovic did nothing wrong but to me, there is always a big difference between just having a slow throw and waiting at the table until the other player stands at his table. At some times, Mensurs play was slower than Pipes and eventhough its a legit strategy, it made the game almost unwatchable for me. Of course its nothing that only affects him but you cant complain that Gary complained about it after such a weird game bc its obvious that Suljovic only did it on purpose to get better chances at winning and eventhough its kinda normal in darts, such behaviour is unsporting behaviour.
@tytits4 жыл бұрын
@@floriankemmerling2132 You sound like such an idiot. First off, I didn't say Mensur and pipe were alike. I was referencing the fact that Gary has a history of complaining about things that sometimes just should be brushed off. Many times, we've all seen him lose to a slow player, and complain about the pace putting him off. Nobody controls your throw, but YOU. It's not Mensur's fault that Gary's ranking has dropped, and he hasn't played as well as he'd like to be playing. Mensur put himself off just as much, if not more so than he put off Gary. So Gary should've simply taken it with a grain of salt, did his interview, and realized that he just needs to improve his game, and his patience. It wasn't unwatchable. Was it a strange game? Sure, but i had no issue watching it. I was just hoping Gary would win, which he did, but the interview show a bit of a lack of class on his part. Like his play, but lost some respect for him after today. As much as he gets called a teacher of Michael Smith, or his mentor, they both need to get their heads together. No sportsman will always be 100%, but even if you show up at 60%, you still give 100% of what you have. With that said, have a great night, and cheers.
@floriankemmerling21324 жыл бұрын

I like it when the commentators only occasionally call out the winning double since it's not that hard for anyone that's done any scoring. Also, the camera person automatically zooms in on the right place. I like it even more when they don't call out the wrong double like at 13:02. At the least the wrong call at the double at 20:26 was corrected.

I think we need a new pdc darts video game for 2021
@jamieshannon98094 жыл бұрын
A darts video game would in no way be as good as playing the real game. Plus it's cheaper to buy a dartboard, a surround, a couple of sets of darts than it is to buy a "Nintendo Switch Playstation X Box" and the cassette required to play it and of course a monitor to play it on.

I don’t think Gary loves the darts like he use to. Especially after seeing him in the post game interview and other interviews. An amazing talent but I just don’t think he has the passion for it like he once did. Now it is just a job that pays the bills.

Watched the first 5 minutes of this I don't get the fuss, Suljavic is playing it seems at a fair pace, he's just throwing his darts! I don't get it at all, and from only watching the first 5 minutes so I can't say for sure, but from just that Gary's judging him very harshly. Gary plays 100 miles an hour great, Suljavic doesn't! Get over it id say

@azarothshadowsoul4 жыл бұрын
I think Durrant is a faster player in person, I met and played him a while ago and he wasn't slow or deliberate at all. As for "no passion", I don't think that's true either, Mensur was ecstatic when he won his first major title and Durrant has been world champion 3 times, that's passion like you wouldn't believe

Respect Duzza. He knows He ain't got the natural fire power like the other top players so he has to concentrate a bit more and be in the zone for his glorious finishing so he can be a contender.
