"hes a big fat motherfucking pedophile" absolutely has my dying laughing every time i rewatch. im from the US and i randomly found we can be heroes on some torrent site back in the early 2010's and I am so lucky to have found chris lilley. ive since bought every dvd release to date (except we can be heroes i have a hard time finding the NTSC version). its sad and pathetic that brilliant comedy like this has to be shut down, but these are terrible times we're living in. I commend you Chris for not apoligizing or even acknowledging the bullshit all together. I just wish more people had a chance to see his stuff, because way too many americans are missing out.

yall ever feel like Smouse got ripped into the popstar movie kinda>? and that Netflix ripped the dudes Dicktation finale and made a series out of it. Seems like people are lifting ideas from him constantly bc of a relatively smaller or different audience. Not that we can't share, but they did him dirty and still steal his best shit. It sucks...

Chris Lilley is very talented as an actor but this character was kind of a mistake. I’ll admit I did chuckle at a few moments in this vid but doing the whole blackface thing is just tacky. Although TBF he’s definitely not the first actor to do that sort of thing (and probably won’t be the last).
@AnnaForever1115 жыл бұрын
Francesca Baines it’s not fair for black people to be allowed to dress as white people and whites can’t do the same. It’s funny, he’s not being racist. He’s a talented actor. I’m black and I think he’s incredible

Chris Lilley is a character comedian who embraces a diverse society by portraying a wide variety of characters, race and gender are no barrier. Otherwise you are advocating that he, as a white male character comedian, must 'stay in his lane' and only portray white male characters, therefore falsely whitewashing a diverse society. Wouldn't that be more offensive?
@codyquinn86464 жыл бұрын
Stfu. It was nothing short of genius acting and character creation. Get out of here with that racism bullshit
