Angry Egg Rally Car - Episode 09 - Engine Bay Wiring, Hood Pins, LED Headlights

Angry Egg is back! I've been working on the car basically non-stop since the previous video last summer, recording when I could, but no time to edit the videos. Winter is here so I have some time to do KZbin!
Part nine of New Hampshire-based rally driver Chris Andrews building a stock Fiat 500 Abarth dubbed the "#AngryEgg​" into a stage rally car to compete in the American Rally Association in such events as the New England Forest Rally.
In this episode I've replaced the headlights with LED bulbs, modified the hood latch to not require the lever in the footwell to be pulled, added Quik-Latch hood pins, a Cartek GT solid stage battery isolator, relays to trigger the ABS cut-off and future lightbar, power wiring for RallySafe GPS tracker, added a PTP Turbo Blanket to keep the hot turbo air away from the engine bay, and re-painted the engine cover to match the orange theme!

Much appreciated! I hope to have another video out in a couple days. This video came out of 4 hours of recorded footage (and probably many hours of work off camera). I've got 16 hours more of footage already recorded with easily over dozens to over 100 hours off camera work waiting to turn into more episodes, and recording more this weekend!

Quik-Latch QL-38-LP on the passenger side and Quik-Latch QL-38L-LP (lockable) on the driver side. I'm going to do the trunk with the other half of each set. Thanks for asking!
