Because again THEY are INVADING into his home. This would have been a very amazing moment to me and these people are just taking it for granted and instead filming the whole thing. I can get taking a few pictures but not once did I see someone take their face out of their phone or camera. Edit: Now watching back I see the leaking from his cheek meaning he is in musth (a rise is testosterone which can make them more aggressive) but I still stand by what I said about he was not being aggressive his ears are head back on his head. Did you know that elephants have the strength of 10,000 horses when angry? That’s what I heard, somewhere before the internet. Did you know the biggest elephant back in the 1950’s weighed 24,000 pounds? True story.
@debrahouston28842 жыл бұрын
I agree w/u 100%. This elephant was not angry, rather curious. I do not believe he was in muhsth bc he WOULD have been much more aggressive. Also, the leaking from those glands can occur anytime they are irritated, aroused, stimulated, etc. NOT just during sexual arousal (which he was not).

Great job by this guide! Really, 👍 !!! Except by the third time, he needed to say, “bitch, I said, sit the fock down!!” He was too nice & it almost got them all flipped!

How in God's name is it the fault of the guide and not the bitch that kept standing up and moving around when he politely told them not to do it?

I dont know what more depressing. Hearing an adult being told to sit down repeatedly or seeing people travel to Africa then use their phones to take pics and video. Ugh.

I would have been so frightened. I admire the guide for keeping calm and assertive.

I love the guides that are always doing these things. You can tell that it's not just a job to them like it is to workers at Zoos. In the videos where they take people into the jungle to see wild gorillas you can see how happy they are and amazed they get even though they do it all the time.

I think i remember from watching David Attenborough that when they are dripping from those places on the side of their heads it means they are on heat and want to mate, so maybe wanted to try and have a go with the tourist bus. Probably the most dangerous time to be near a big male

That streaming at the side of the head shows that the elephant is musth. Not exactly the right moment to chance upon that guy.:(:(: Very dangerous with the elephant having a HUGE surge in testosterone and very unpredictable and aggressive. A damn silly thing to do....move AWAY from an elephant which shows signs of musth and that would be the streaming from the temporal glands.
