@@geordiejones5618 It used to be one of his greatest strengths that he escape pockets and extend plays. He used to get so much mileage out of rolling right but he doesn't have the wheels to get out of jail anymore. A QB's legs always go before the arm does and Rodgers' were already declining even before the Achilles. He can still throw, but only from a clean pocket. He doesn't dominate anymore. He hasn't had a 300 yard game since 2021 and that was against the Bears. The Jets should have fired Hackett and hire a real OC during the offseason. A competent coordinator could have made a decent offense out of that core of Rodgers, Hall and Wilson. Maybe not Superbowl caliber, but at least functional and competitive.. Rodgers wanted to be given everything that Brady was given by the Bucs, he just didn't want to put in all the extra work that Brady did, or even go to the mandatory mini-camp. he just thinks he has to show up.

I would agree that the kicker is not good, but the kick he misses with 12:39 left in the 4th quarter, was the holders fault. Watch the replay, and you will notice that the holder places the ball down almost backwards. So when he’s kicking the ball, he’s mostly kicking the laces.

So, they tell him he's got to tackle more, i.e., try and save the horrid run defense. Breece runs best in space, so let's keep running him into the middle of the line where there's no space. I dunno. I don't play or coach football. I've just been a Jets fan since Heidi (the prototype game of the Jets being Jets). But something seems really messed up here.

As a Pats fan, I still hate the roughing the passer rule where any touch to the helmet is called. That's dumb for a physical sport
