@@joanneriley3899 Nothing wrong with that kind of click bait. There was nothing false or overstated in it. And, yes, the idea is to get people to view the videos. Do you get angry when stores advertise their goods or a sale in the papers (oh, nvm, you probably don't read the papers) or on TV? That's how they pull customers into their stores so they can sell goods and make money to live and buy more goods to sell. Same idea with YT. Those titles are their only chance at advertising to pull in customers. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My guess is a bitter old woman also. My mum died from dementia and this was NOT one of the first signs.
@NailHeavenAshford
@NailHeavenAshford Жыл бұрын
I disagree. She was hardly angry, a snarky old woman yes but not angry. It was overstated and yes I would be angry if I went to the supermarket and bought something that wasn’t quite as described. By the way, I don’t read the papers as they are a load of rubbish that brain fed people read. I use reliable sources for my news. Proper news, not tittle tattle and grocery adverts. I pick up my local supermarkets advertising leaflet and look at that. I look at the shelves and goods on sale and see whether I feel they are worth buying. If I like them i buy them. False or slightly incorrect advertising only gets a bad reputation. I’ll view some more of their videos as I subscribed because I like gardening videos. If I don’t like them because of the titles etc then I’ll unsubscribe gladly because there are tons of these channels doing an honest and great job. By the way, they originally said they would mow the lawn for free. They then started cutting things down. If I said yes please to a free lawn mow and came back to find bits of tree cut off I’d ask them to leave too That was not what was agreed to.

Too bad about the first house. The lady reminds me of how my mom was as she descended into dementia. She was high functioning for a long time and able to hold conversations that made sense but she was suspicious and paranoid and found fault with everything. We didn't know she was suffering dementia it just seemed like she got angrier and stranger as she got older. She would also get angry with you over things that didn't make much sense. Don't take it to heart. You never know what people are going through.

Takes a medical diagnosis. BUT, One would think that the person with the woman, WOULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE ALERTED THEM TO THE FACT THAT SHE HAS DEMENTIA... @@rieriec.36 So, as I mentioned, mom was sliding into dementia and we DIDN'T KNOW she had it, so we couldn't tell people. Same thing can be happening here......that's the whole point of my comment. You never know what someone is going through.....and sometimes they don't know it yet either. But, typical for YT, one can make a comment that points out how it's often best to let go of blaming other people but somebody still pops up and finds a way to do it anyway.

I’m a widow in my 70’s and know the feeling of being overwhelmed. I think that’s what happens with many of these homeowners that let their yards get so overgrown that they don’t know where to begin. I’m thankfully, even after a stroke, able to keep my yard presentable. It’s not always easy but it’s so much easier to keep up with it. A friend of mine gave me good advice. He said tackle a little each day - I go out an hour or 2 each time so I don’t exhaust myself. I’ve been able to purchase a little at a time some battery operated tools, including, a mower, weed eater, blower & chain saw. So much lighter & easier to handle than gas powered. I know there may come a time when I won’t be able to do those tasks and will have to seek other options. I have also been blessed my neighbors that will lend me a hand. God bless you both for helping those that that need help ❤

LOL” I bake other things but the standing request is walnut Brownie with crispy edges. Well, I can’t just bake all crispy corners lol so? Now I make them in muffin pans and the whole tops are all crispy for my guys! Next favorite is Walnut Banana muffins, then as a last resort? We get any kinda berry “if you can’t make brownies will be ok” lol.

Perfectly coherent and cooperative one minute then a complete reversal the next. He was paranoid and skeptical of anyone that wanted to help. It's not their fault. And no way to reason with them. Their minds have ceased to function as they once did. Wouldn't surprise me if latter she wondered why you didn't finish the yard.

Listening to the first person it might be a case where the person might have cognitive issues. You were very professional in listening and being polite. The yard you did do looked to be in a neghborhood with nicely taken care of lawns and neighbors that are friendly an appreciative of your work. Your videos are always well done, loved the interaction in your water breaks. Great job.

There was something seriously wrong with those people. If anyone had a yard in that bad of shape would turn down a free lawn mowing/clean up, proves my point. It was just a speed bump in the road. I am glad that you posted that though so that we can truly understand what you guys sometimes have to deal with. You both are the best. You keep me laughing so you do good every day. Bless you guys for what you are able to do. Just keep going and help the ones that you can.
