As someone who does and has worked in customer service jobs, it amazes me how many people blame a company selling goods for not receiving packages where or when they want, from a third-party shipping courier. Arrival dates are estimated, not guaranteed. Also, I've seen people complain about weather delays, whom falsely assume that they know exactly where the package has been fulfilled from. As an example, one customer was angry because there was not severe weather near the shipping address, however, she failed to realize that the package was delayed from shipping from my company, in another state, because it was snowing in the city the package was fulfilling from and most employees were not able to make it to work. To sum up the lesson: if you need an item, allow plenty of days for the package to arrive. Arrival time frames are never guaranteed.
