It was an miscommunication, the vendor didnt knew that you were asking for the kachori and that 100 rupees you were giving which he denied,it was because he thought you are paying again for ur samosa and that sweet,he asked you to go out because that was a quite small shop and you were standing there making it difficult for other customers to buy stuff, he said ' oh to taka diye diyeche' which means he has already paid.

Apart from Shantipur local no other trains were available that time which would be heading towards to Barrackpore. The list was not given. We too got up in the same train.

These miscommunications happen! In Japan I was staying at an expensive onsen resort in kinosaki onsen town. The resort had a fancy kaiseki cuisine restaurant which I tried to go to the second evening. When I got there, the staff rejected me and told me I wasn’t allowed to eat there. I even tried to confirm the reason but it wasn’t clear. I was pretty upset because the place was not very foreigner friendly. Anyway I found out later that you have to reserve with reception a day ahead of time. That would’ve been useful to know. In the end I got in the next day and it was an interesting experience.

58:26 Mangal Pandey was an Indian soldier who played a key role in the events taking place just before the outbreak of the Indian rebellion of 1857. He was a sepoy (infantryman) in the 34th Bengal Native Infantry (BNI) regiment of the British East India Company. In 1984, the Indian government issued a postage stamp to remember him. His life and actions have also been portrayed in several cinematic productions. Mangal Pandey was born in Nagwa, a village of upper Ballia district, Ceded and Conquered Provinces (now in Uttar Pradesh), to a Hindu Brahmin family. Pandey had joined the Bengal Army in 1849. In March 1857, he was a private soldier (sepoy) in the 5th Company of the 34th Bengal Native Infantry.

He didn't chase you.. he thought you were trying to pay him again for the samosa & he replied that you have already paid.. it was complete miscommunication, where the seller didn't understand that you wanted kachoris.. And he was kinda trying to tell you to move to the other side of the shop..

You know damn well he kicked his ass out. You could tell by how nasty he acted and his hand movement. Bottom line he wanted the foreigner the hell out of his shop soon as possible.

@@Aaliyah-rq4xh yeah, I think shop owner was mad he was vlogging with camera, and taking too long, wanted his other customers in. He must have understood that Dale wanted more (whatever it was he ordered) and still kicked him out

@@Aaliyah-rq4xhhe did his hand movement coz he was blocking way in his already small shop making it worse. And also he thought he has already eaten and is giving extra money . That shop owner was a genuine and honest person.

hello dale. i hope you read my comment. i want to let you know that i always watch your videos with english subtitle/cc. but without english subtitle/cc, i couldn't understand and stopped watching since then. i'm deaf and i recommended to my deaf friends about your videos with english subtitle/cc. we all love your kind of adventures. i know it takes alot of time and effort to make english subtitle/cc but deaf people couldn't understand at all.

You've made it lot of great videos... Your short ones are always popping up in my feed... including the one with you on the camel on the beach . Those miserable swine harassing you for more money brings back many memories , of taxi drivers , touts and scammers I've run into over the years... That part I don't miss about traveling , but thankfully it is but a small part of the experiences... Safe travels and good luck with your videos...
