So he pulls up and says Hey how do I become a sponsor for your festival. we explain it to him how it works that if you donate so much money it's different types of sponsors like a diamond sponsor. He then said that him and his wife own businesses in our town And that they would be interested in sponsoring the festival. Keep in mind at this point he still being extremely nice. He walks over to his car and comes back with a camera in his hand and had completely lost it. The vape store is a diamond sponsor so it gets hung up where the most traffic runs... But he asked if he could cut it down and the one board member said fine whatever just To descalate the situation He then goes back to his car and comes back with the knife and is swinging it around. I am legal to carry a firearm so I wasn't worried But he was told several times that he needed to leave and did not and then later was kicked out of town for the weekend of the festival. Animal control was called to get his dog out if his car after he was taken to jail.

In my experience, vaping has really helped me, smoked since I was 10 and I'm 22. Now I can breathe, and don't wake up drowning in my own lung snot. So yeah, and I was reluctant to ever try vaping bc it seemed worse, but fr better than a cigarette

Not better, different. As someone who vapes, sold vape equipment and juice, made my own juice and has been vaping for almost ten years there ARE side effects. My lungs are more sensitive now than they've ever been, I definitely associate that with the vaping.

My dad passed away from COPD last year and i had to take him to many of his appointments and while we were at his lung doctors, i was speaking to him about vaping and how it seemed like a better option and he said that he was just part of a peer review that showed that 7 years of vaping does the equivalent lung damage of 20 years of smoking a pack a day. Its different damage, but vaping seems to be way worse. Now, there's different chemical mixtures so im not sure how many that applies to, but he straight up said that all the one's he's reviewed, you're better off smoking cigs, probably way, WAY better off smoking cigars or natural cigarettes (the super expensive, just tobacco one's). If you can use vaping temporarily.... keyword there, temporarily, so like... a few months, to stop smoking, you're probably okay. But long term vaping seems to be vastly worse than cigarettes and that's not surprising when you look at the chemicals in the vaping juice.

Smoke contains much more carcinogens than vapor does. Also, people have been using "vapes" since the 60's but they weren't portable. Hookahs have been in usage for even longer than that and it too operates on a similar function of atomization. Sorry about your dad, but it's just not factual what you're saying.

There MAY be a small amount of smoke in the vapor that is produced. Hookah coals sit directly above but not touching the tobacco, it also comes out as a dry plant substance. Not ash. Therefore it is not smoke. I've been studying this in depth, exclusively. Whereas someone who studies lung disease and issues as a whole has a general understanding that is more expansive. There's a lot of evidence to support what I'm saying. The only thing you're showing here, is that you yourself have done zero personal research into the subject and are regurgitating things you've heard.

Matthew Heywood yeah basically anything you put in your lungs is bad for you, even the air that we breathe, but it’s kinda ridiculous that all vape products are being pretty much wiped out because parents aren’t paying more attention to their high schoolers

I didn't know comics feel this way about dress code. Like, I never wear shorts, but when I play in a band, if I see another musician wearing shorts, I don't pay any attention to the shorts. If they play well, the clothes don't matter. I get that some events are suit-n-tie and shorts would be weird there, but no shorts allowed at an open mic? That's like no shorts at a jam session. At a jam session, you could walk onstage in a swimsuit. If you can play, you can play.

We know exactly what caffeine does. Vaping hasn't been around long enough for us to know what glycerine and flavoring vapor does to lungs. We also know nicotine is very bad for developing brains, while caffeine isn't.
