Even a 3 hour drive away from where I live the weather is always so different they get hit harder by every type of storm compared to us. Wether it's just heavier rain or a legitimate threatening flood. And 30 to 45 minutes away from where we used to live now only 20 they get insane flooding fro. The simplest of storms. He CANNOT speak for a place he doesn't spend his life. Especially in a fictional scenario where every worker isn't cleaning shit do to an apocalypse.

Im a bit let down. Looks like it will get boring very quick since im not into tower defense games......This looks like a glorified tower defense, nothing like the first trailer I saw. Maybe theres a single player mode with more depth.

@@khatdragon7694 it doesn't get boring at all because there's so much to do in the game, there are multiple classes to level up and customize perks to your liking, then there's using the weapon and getting xp from using it in which you can spend in game currency that you earn through completing missions to purchase further upgrades or perks, also the game adapts to your playing style and makes it harder to get through which is definitely interesting

I think that my biggest issue with WWZ is that ultimately you’re rarely EVER in a position of coming into *DIRECT* contact with the entirety of the hordes you face. The actual visualization of these huge hordes is cool, but it really acts as more of an indicator of where they’re coming from, as the game will only trickle them in at a pace that’s always almost equal to the rate at which yo and your team can dispatch them.m, so you rarely ever feel overran or threatened by what’s shown. Unlike Days Gone which actually puts you face to face with the horde. This is a 4 player co-op game, there’s no reason why they couldn’t just unleash the horde on your group and just ensure that you have the ability to outrun and outsmart them. Instead every horde interact feels bland... at least TO ME.

Genuinely thought this game would be garbage based upon the title, because games based on movies (in this case based on a movie based on a book) rarely are good. But this is an exception. There is an obvious inspiration taken from L4D, but no complaints here.

Looks like it's based on the movie. It would have been cool if it did chapters of individuals surviving like from the book. In one chapter, one of those shut in japanese kids who never leaves his room realizes something is wrong after two days of being neglected by his mother (no meals). He scales down the apartment he lives on, which is around ten or more stories high, and he drops down level by level, looking for things to save himself. He finds a katana, reminisces about the owner of the hoe he is in, sees he is a zombie, and hacks away down the building, and overall becomes a social person after.. The best story is about the chemical VX. That would have been fun to play as one of the soldiers.

PvP is fucking AWESOME. Swarm Deathmatch for example(one of I think about 6 or 7 unique game modes they have for PvP) is so much fun. Imagine the division PvP with hordes of zombies attacking you well you’re trying to fight the other team. That’ll give you a good idea

Well, in a very short period of time, Saber Interactive addressed nearly every issue I encountered. Talk about a complete 180°. My faith is mercifully restored. That being said, with a $40 price tag, set aside whatever you're currently playing, and join the War against the "Zekes." If you're going to run up the face of a mountain in order to overthrow "Left for Dead," this is precisely how you do it. My only real problem with it so far, and I've only played maybe one or two levels on the lowest difficulty so far, is that there doesn't seem to be a great variety of special infected. You get the screamers, the bull (chargers), lurkers (hunters) and the gas zombies. I also don't think they are as good as they are in left 4 dead. The charger is certainly more interesting, and more terrifying, and harder to avoid imo than the 'bull' is. They just don't seem to have nearly as much character, or inspired nearly as much fear. I think that part of the problem is that the l4d special infected are really kind of different species, and that adds an element of horror you just don't get when it's basically just another big dude in a cop uniform. Why are there so many big dudes in cop uniforms running around? Did they develop super strength somehow? Either way they feel pretty lackluster and that is a disappointment. I really wish they would have went the l4d route and made them some super creepy creatures, instead of slightly mutated humans or whatever they are. Another thing I didn't like was that when playing through in single player offline, after finishing a level it takes you back to the main menu. I really liked how in l4d it was like a continuous story, but here it feels broken apart and not as put together. But I'm keen to see where they go with this. I think it is a pretty good start, and if they come out with some good stuff in the future it could really be a stellar game. The sounds are great, the graphics are great, a lot of the levels and story were really cool.

Pros: -The zombies look badass when they're flooding into the map. -gun attachments that you have to earn. -Several characters with little background stories. Cons: -Boring mission objectives. -Zombies are not scary. -Only 11 co-op missions that take about 3 hours to complete them all. -to summarize combat basically zombies will start flooding into the map... usually there will be a fence that slows them down and you just throw C-4 at the pile of zombies and then mindlessly shoot into the crowd. Rinse and repeat.
