You guys really need to re-read the rulebook and play this game again. So many mistakes...

For starters, you didn't setup the game correctly. Step 4 of the setup says that you need to place all the market tiles with the resources face up on those spots. You guys had a some tiles showing the money side and that's what caused a lot of confusion at 1:11:10 Also, you were placing star bases into play directly (not the colony side). Your homeworld is a star base, so colonies is the other icon. You also forgot to score the edict after you all got to choose a role. And after REGENT, there was a planet with multiple tokens on it. You forgot to resolve those tokens.
