The confirmation of physical abuse is astounding bc the sheer amout of times I've been told "Dream didnt actually hurt Tommy. He just isolated him" Because like, emotional and verbal abuse are still abuse. But no one takes it seriously with tommys character for some reason. Or think that the manipulation and isolation is justified because tommy is annoying.

It is probably because everyone gets physical pain, it leaves obvious wounds and who hasn't gotten hurt in some way before to know how it feels? Emotional and mental pain can be harder for people to get unless they have had some sort of experience with it. Especially so for things that chip away at you bit by bit over time since it just seems so small.

I didn't actually expect this is how his redemption arc going to start. Even at first he seemed like he was victim blaming Tommy about or at least..not making it a big deal. But realizing the extent of what Dream did to Tommy..destroying Logstedshire, blowing up his belongings daily, almost making him kill himself..I didn't expect he'd be so..enraged about it. By far, he looked up to Dream so much, for bringing him back to life, and yeah if ever, he could have worked with Dream to return a favor. This really goes to show how much he cared for Tommy..even if he couldn't..directly show it, and it'd still look like he's selfish and manipulative. But this..his thoughts, of constantly killing Dream over and over again, and the fact that he wouldn't mind doing it until the end of his sentence..really shows that he values Tommy that much. He knew Tommy didn't deserve all that, being exiled was bad enough, but Dream put more hell in it, and he didn't have to..but he did anyway. I'm glad seeing Wilbur actually still caring about Tommy, and put allegiance to his for being his brother in arms; his right hand man, instead of putting it to Dream: the one that got him back to life, the way out of that hellish limbo. He knew he owes Dream his life, but the moment he knew the shite he gave to Tommy, it no longer mattered.

Wilbur said it himself: Tommy is still afraid of Dream, which still gives him (even if just) a sliver of power. I think this is near the end, yes, but it's not exactly finished yet. (Still that's just a theory! A game theory. Sorry, had to do that lol.)

Since Character Dream doesn't like Tommy. But instead he goes out of his way to be around Tommy and tortures him. Countless times after Tommy was just fine leaving Dream alone for good, DREAM ACTIVILY SEEKS HIM OUT. And goes out of his way to stay present just so he can hurt him. Tommy isn't a perfect angel, but being annoying for a but doesn't warrant having someone stalk you and make it their goal to ruin your life. Dream is a villian Character. And you can enjoy him as a villian- but it's concerning how many people try to act like his character is somehow actually a good person.
