I like the ore collector, limit is 50 ores I think and I use it all for selling in my Vendor for a max of 5 caps a piece if it’s rare or valuable to the community along with some acid from the butterfly sanctuary

might be worth noting that collectrons originally unlocked on the scoreboard have a quirk in that if you change their search function then server hop they'll collect from BOTH their original loot pool and your selected loot pool. so if you don't mind diluting what they pick up it can be really handy, such as both nuka-cola search versions to collect what both version exclusively drops

I might have accidentally procced this "quirk". Is there a way to get rid of it? I want my FETCH to *only* collect nuka colas. And not some nuka colas and some electronics

@@philistine3260 its constant until you change your collectrons settings again by changing on terminal or removed from your camp. and this will always be the case for those specific collectrons. so for your case if you want FETCH to solely collect Nuka, your going to have to reset the settings every time you log into the server. so you can either do that, or change to an Atom shop collectron (junkyard Fetch looks similar but is Atom shop Only)

I have this behavior on my Junkyard Collectron which I purchased from the Atomic Shop. Then I purchased the Nuka-Cola Collectron from Samuel with Gold Bullion and set my Junkyard to collect sodas. It collects both junk/electronics + sodas. I didn’t get any of these Collectrons from a Scoreboard (I’m a new player / started July ‘23). So, are you sure that this behavior applies only to Scoreboard Collectrons?

I use the clean fetch collectron, it's setting isn't just junk, it's electronic junk, plenty of copper which is something I use often, I also have it's secondary search set to nuka cola, a decent drip of nuka grape since I have cola nut. Also those soups sound like veggies which won't work for my carnivorous self.

I read another comment saying if you use a skin and a different setting it will actually pull from both loot tables. I’ve never had any radioactive waste show up in my nukatron.

Butterfly sanctuary produces acid, makes a great pair with auto miner but I will agree, it’s a hassle having to smelt the materials once you get enough to do so.

I actually have a Mining camp in the Ash Heap which I use when I am low on Steel, I have a steel extractor and an Auto Miner so they gather metals while I go into different mines and Mine up all the Metals.

On XBox, I select Electronics and Junk, then Ore to get all 3. Same with Electronics and Junk, then NukaCola to get all 3. Might have to repeat the process to get all 3. This also works with Fasnacht Treats.

The auto-miner and nuka quantum collectrons seem to be able to collect from two lists at the same time if you change it so far. I have an auto-miner at my camp (PS4) and it collects both nuka colas and ore after switching it to look for nuka quantum-related stuff. I'm not sure if other collectrons do it too yet

My ore collector seems to be bugged, I switched it from mining ore to looking for ammo and weapons through the side terminal and now it just brings me both ore and the ammo and weapons, not that I'm complaining though.

Every collectron can collect two types of items. the item the collectron is named or auto collects, and the item type u assign. So use the desired collectron and assign the desired items and u receive two pools of items

I used Nuka cola for a while and now I have 100 cranberry ones, it will last forever lol. Then I rolled a godly Thirst Zapper and switched to quantum Collectron for more quantum colas, gotta love twist too, since we use a lot of those for farming, so for me quantum is S tier. XD

I've been using the raider collectron for weapons and ammo for a little while. I'm hoping for the odd combat rifle to scrap for free mods to make a fixer. The chem variant was really good too when I used it but I my build doesn't use chems. I do want the nuka cola collectron tho idk why lol think ill get it from the gold bullion vendor

For me Fasnascht is best beacause it collects sugar bombs for (brain bombs) and royal jelly for (black berry honey crisp), both of these consumables are so helpful

I thought I saw on an Angry Turtle guide on KZbin that when you collect all the collectrons, you can use any collecting type and get all the different type of items scavenged on for example Santatron. Is that true? Thanks.

Good tier list IMO. I usually have the Nuka, communist, or silver running. I use a lot of silver crafting PA.

Not sure if it's a bug or intended (probably a bug...)but With the regular Nuka collectron, if I change the subroutine to collect other stuff, it still collects a few Nuka-Colas and whatever the other stuff is but it will only hold 3 Nukas and 4-5 other items. I only have 3 versions of the collectron(Standard, Santatron and the regular Nukatron) but it seems like the Santatron can hold the most in the deposit box.

The automotive parts are most useful when you're using a grenade launcher as you get a lot of oil from it. The Silver collectron is slightly better than the Gold one because silver is used in large quantities for crafting mole miner pails.

For me it's : - Christmas : Santatron. - Casual : Fetch dog (Electrical parts, aluminum and springs are very useful) - Nukatron : When i need nuka nades or colas for weeklies/dailies.

After trying the Cola Nut card and while using the thru hiker card, I don't really need stimpaks so both the quantum and normal nuka cola collectrons are very handy for me. I picked the quantum one and set it to collect normal nuka colas like grape, cranberry and orange. It might be me but I feel it gives quantums more than the regular one when set this way. :D

I believe because it’s drawing from two loot pools. They seem to always look for a little junk from the displaying collectrons inventory, on top of the chosen one. Two chances at a Quantum every time it produces

I have a little problem with my collector. I have FETCH collector and nuka-cola collector. I like the look of FETCH, but I want nuka-colas. The problem: When I build FETCH and change setting to bring me colas, it starts to bring me a mix of both electronics AND nuka colas. Anyone familiar with this bug? Any way to make my FETCH only bring me nuka-colas?

Personally I run the Quantum Collectron, smaller loot table and more common quantums is useful for me since I'm looking for normal Nuka Colas and the Quantums to make Nuka Grenades and Thirst Zapper ammo respectively. Also he just looks cool. I also have the Commie one which I ran until I got the Quantum.

I couldnt disagree more , the ore collectron is op. You get so much copper and lead ore and black titanium , and you can use super duper to get more when you smelt its defintely a great collectron. Plus the storage on it is absolutely massive

Ore collector isn't too bad if you have access to lots of acid, like the butterfly sanctuary. At that point you pretty much even out on it. Heck, this list is literally just a: which one is the coolest. I mean we can walk up to literally ANY collectron and change what it searches for, with the exception of certain ones like the Auto Miner, Red Rocket, etc, collecting auto parts and stuff ontop of the changed search. Nuka Cola being S tier due to "It gives you nuka colas for dailies" like it's hard to find colas. It's only purpose was quantum farming for a while till people found out about canned coffee and then well, birthday cake lol.

Yes, I do understand you need to own said collectron to do the changed search. Which end of the day, like said in video, will pop up in the atom store eventually. But: nuka cola is still not a hard item to find, and given people have their pockets filled with caps, neither is it hard to buy them.

Honestly having the ore collector is quite profitable in your vendors I tested out if players want ores and the answer was yes Sold lead ore for 4 caps a piece when I have 50 of it Kept the price reasonably low because acid costs for smelting is quite expensive

@@Poke-ladd If you choose to smelt the ore yourself, the butterfly sanctuary is pretty decent, given it's a max of 10 acid, but it accumulates pretty fast, at least that's what I've noticed.

You think the ore collectron is the worst? I always check out your videos to find out what is the best stuff in the game but boy did you miss the mark on this one. The ore collectron is at the top of my list. As someone who is always looking for resources for ammo it is the best one in my opinion. I don't need a collectron for sugar bombs or nuka cola. You farm a ton of those with a few server hops. I'm currently sitting on over 400 sugar bombs and probably 600 nuka cola and it didn't take long to accumulate them. Ore how ever is very hard to find and very spread out even with my farm location I always am looking for ores. Best thing about the ore collectron is I have at all 5 camp on all my characters, and once every couple days I collect a bunch of ores and smelt them. The butterfly sanctuary help with extra acid. But also if I don't need the ore I can put it in my vendor for caps. The ore collectron is my #1 pick. My second place would be the nuka red collectron.
