Bought the 18 inch version,was one of the first to buy one when they were released.Had to send it in for service before I even shot it.The casings wouldn't extract tried 3 bolts nothing worked.Cleaned the barrel really well twice and the chamber.Had to use a cleaning rod still to extract the unspent round.Great customer service they got my barrel quick and fixed it up right.Not as quiet with cci mini mags but it's on par with a regular 22 can using subsonic ammo.

I put a Volquartsen barrel on my Ruger 10/22 and its absolutely fucking amazing. Phenomenal products.

Superlite seems like a thing. I built a stainless 10/22 with Butler Creek’s polymer .920 and corelite and put a Volquartsen grand master kit in it for about $500 total but that was 20 years ago. Made my nylon 66 a safe queen. I don’t have threads but I don’t use a can anyway. I can see how it could sell. The straight pull is dumb. Just buy a CZ bolt gun.

You guys should've checked out SWS Rifles. They have an integral barrel that is definitely a much more superior system, and they can offer the same build at a better price. It's easier to clean as well.

according to both websites the Angstadt will be cheaper. The performance will have to wait until someone does a head to head

CCI standard velocity is 1070fps and subsonic without stupid ports in barrel.

On paper yes, however 22lr isn't the most consistent loading, and the sound barrier varies depending on altitude and temperature, you will always be close to the threshold

This is typical design language for integrally suppressed firearms. It’s intended to make *all* rounds subsonic, including full powered defensive loads (I know that’s not really a thing in the .22lr world, but there’s still hotter loads than standard cci). It’s why the MP5SD is ported. 115grain p+ becomes quiet reeeeaal quick
