Thank you. This was useful and perhaps the quickest introduction to reactive forms. Use of basic controls without any style library is best learning experience. Currently getting error "Identifier 'references' is not defined. The component declaration, template variable declarations, and element references do not contain such a member" on *ngFor="let ref of references.controls; let i=index I will post solution when I find it. Sorted. Silly mistake in ts file. getreferences() instead of get references()

This does not feel like a truly dynamic form. There is still quite a bit of template code. Would be nice to see a model driven dynamic form. The server response driving the controls / validation and making it a library for reuse between multiple applications.
