@@humphreygruntwhistle3946I guess that settles it then, huh? He lost one of his best friends and the success of their band consistently glaring at them everyday, AC/DC everywhere on all the radio waves all the time, AC/DC shirts and merch everywhere you go, their whole life revolved around the band, and their most popular songs performed by Bon. No he couldn’t possibly still be hurting or coping or dealing with it. Not at all. Hopefully you can read the tone of sarcasm in all of this.

Malcolm always seemed happy not talking and being in the background while Angus and Bon handled the interviews. You know, I love Powerage like Eddie Van Halen and Keith Richards. I don't know how many others say this but that album was Malcolm's album to me- besides Bon turning in his best and most advanced lyrics ever. You sort of couldn't say any of Bon's albums were his because he was just that consistent, but Powerage is Malcolm's finest hour.
@esteeb67

I see Powerage as Bon's album. It's his most personal set of lyrics. Malcolm always brings it, but I feel like Let There Be Rock was where he birthed modern AC/DC.

@@MusclesHockeymask I agree. I didn't mean to slag Malcolm. I think everyone really excels on that record. Even Angus' soloing got more diverse (some country style licks in there too), but for me it's like Bon's confessional. He's always been one who wrote about his experiences, but on Powerage you can feel the full weight of his heartbreak.

@@1Deep43VA You can reconstruct the Aussie version of High Voltage with tracks from '74 Jailbreak, Backtracks, and the international version of High Voltage. It's a very different kind of album than what they later made. Less conservative and probably not ideal because they couldn't record it as an actual band. They had a revolving door of drummers and had to get help from George, the eldest Young brother. I think Malcolm even had to play some of the bass parts.

Sooner rather than later, had he not died, they would have fired him. It was only Angus pleading with Malcolm and Fifa Riccobono pleading with Bon that kept him from being dumped after Highway to Hell. If Ted Albert had of even heard a whisper about Bon's rumoured heroin use, Malcolm would have had an ultimatum - get a new singer or get a new label. And the latter choice would have meant paying Albert back the mountains of money they owed him. No brainer for Mal.

@@rocknroll1973 Are you kidding? 95% of the lyrics after the BIB album are horrendous. Do you really think that Brian Johnson joined the band, got acclimated with his new mates, and then wrote all of those lyrics in a matter of just 5 short months? Johnson only wrote a handful of songs with his previous band, "Geordie" in the 6 years he was with them.. Even Bon's ex-girlfriends have stated that Bon wrote those lyrics. It's a shame the Young brothers never gave the writing credits to Bon on the BIB album. Of course, if they did that, they would've had to pay his estate a heck of a lot of money! And it all comes down to money, doesn't it?

Colin Hay of "Men at Work" would be a perfect front man for ACDC reason being he is Bon Scott of ACDC! Not to take anything away from Brian Johnson and Axel Rose!. ACDC fans are in for a shock! Bon Scott is alive and well. He is Colin Hay of "Men at Work" Because is it coincidental that they are both Aussies with Ancestral Roots to Scottland??? " The reason why he wanted out! The long time away on tour from his family and the demands of being on the road was more than he could take! He wanted to make music on his own terms and likewise to go on tour at his own conveinience! The song "Back in Black" was his resignation to move away from the spotlight! The lyrics were his signature resignation and the clue to how he would depart from the Band! "Back in black I hit the Sack! (Bon Scott was referring to how he would be supposedly found dead whlile he was asleep! and leaving the Spotlight by slowly fading to the darkness of returning back to a life of normacy away from the bright lights! "I have got nine lives! (He is referring to how he survived many dangerous events a Bike accident, alcoholisn and how he was going to reinvent himself!) "I have got "Cats eyes" (This is a important clue that he has successfully changed his identity! And the only way you would ever know its him if you ever saw him again is He had this rare "eye condition" that looked like how a Cat looks around because they would operarate independently of each other and moving in different directions! Now some people may say wait a minute they have different Birth dates! This is a common practice when hiding ones true identity together with a change of hairstyles! But I think he still played a active role in the Band with ACDC as a "Ghost Writer" because every song that ACDC sang after Bon Scotts supposed death sounded like he still had his "trait mark signature" on all of ACDC's songs! So its up to Colin Hay of "Men at Work" if he wants to come out "the darkness" of "Back in Black" and back into the Spotlight" again to say to his loyal fans and say to them! "Hey MTF's guess whose back from a "Back in Black" hyatus! And is there any photos of Bon Scott in a Coffin in a funeral service?? And how many photos does Colin Hay have of himself in his earlier years with him and his family??? The same goes for Morgan Freeman who is actually "Jimi Hendrix" and "Lady Gaga" who is actually "Amy Winehouse! And is it coincidental that all three just happen to burst on the Social Scene shortly after the supposed passing of these legendary "Musical Icons????? Can you imagine if all three decided to tour together. And their Band name would be called "Grievance Clean Detox Revival??? Sincerely, Patrick S.N. Iriarte "Nostradamus of the Mariana

Wow, so weird all these people in the comments have experienced the same thing! I just outgrew the stuff years ago. I can take a single hit these days and get so high it’s like I’m tripping. I have smoked a hit before performing music and it was kind of like I was watching myself play. I guess that’s exactly what he was describing.

@@garymitchell5899 He said it was like watching himself from outside his body, EXACTLY what I said. Perhaps you missed it. What do you think is different? Especially enough to comment?

@@TheNaturalust He didn't say he was watching himself from outside his body? He said nothing of the sort. _You_ did...but what he said was Bon followed some chick off a plane in Bangkok, prolly cuz he was drunk, and nobody knew where he was for a week. That's wildly different than tripping and having an out-of-body experience.
