The environment of the Anhalter Bahnhof (Askanischer Platz, Königgrätzer Straße and side streets) was quite upscale, unlike today. You would find museums, embassies and diplomats' homes here. After all, it was very close to the Wilhelmstraße, very much the power axis of the German empire. If you're looking for a grimier station neighborhood, that would have been around the Stettiner in the north of the city, on the Invalidenstraße. After the war, the blocks around the old Anhalter of course suffered badly from being totally flattened and right up to the zone border (and later the wall). Unfortunately, the neighborhood never quite recovered.

Any decal is essentially a box. Where the box intersects the surface there will be a projection of that decal's texture on that surface. The taller the box, the smoother will be a transition from 100% opacity to 0 near the top and bottom faces. You can shrink decals with PO both vertically and horizontally.

Looks beautiful. Its stressing to follow the work but in fact i would be glad to build my Z scale model that way, choosing buildings from a combo box and end up in a life time. Currently i am working since 1999, 25 years up to now.

I really love this series! But I would recommend to use European looking trains instead of American

I've looked on the workshop but I don't see any European steam locomotives that look good. Maybe you know of some

@@thePhoenicianCS I am from Germany and I'm really into trains so when I'm back home on Saturday I'll try to make a small collection of assets that fit in this time

Thanks! Both the actual functional trains and props too if you don't mind

@@thePhoenicianCS There are two authentic german passenger trains in the workshop. One is called 'Br 52 + Umbauwagen' and the other 'VSM Railway Museum Train'. I also know from Altengrad that there are also assets of the two steam engines.

@@thePhoenicianCS The list is still in progress, I'm a bit dumb and can't add some assets because the tab won't let me scroll down further... Anyone some help?

Hi! I've been dying to get any sorts of old tram roads, especially like the ones you use. Can you tell me how you do it/make them? I don't see the cobbled tram streets (like the one way tram on two lanes) in your asset list.
@thePhoenicianCS4 жыл бұрын
The one-way tram roads are actually vanilla and really all of the tram roads i use are modern. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any old looking tram roads on the workshop. What matters most is the cobblestone theme for the asphalt texture. On some of the roads I have to use ploppable asphalt (which for my theme is cobblestone) to cover up road lines and crosswalks. Your best option is to go to the asset list and search "lrt" and go to that tram road collection. They're modern but a few can be made to look old fashioned with the method i mentioned above

@@thePhoenicianCS Thank you, perhaps it could be an idea for you to make a video about how to make old looking roads etc.

Do u can create a mod list pls?
@thePhoenicianCS4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I can't since I am not building this on my main steam account. I'm family sharing the game to another account I made and steam doesn't let you create a collection on a family shared account

Actually it's your lucky day. I just tried something new and used the loading mod to export the asset report and copy it into a Google doc. It's not the normal asset list but it still gives the names of everything i use and the link to the steam workshop

Very nice! There is a PO compatible version of the station sign you used (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1401061521&searchtext=bahnhof) and I think the train yard is missing a water tank (like this one steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1896231837) and a pile of coal for the locomotives to refill :)
