I read a snippet of the book. Her prose is just as poetic and beautiful as her songs!! Such an amazing writer!!

You see how family life has settled her, she’s still passionate about her craft, but she is not as ‘manic’ and is much more balanced in her life & career. She reminded me of lady Gaga in her early days…so driven! Hitting the NY streets just doing anything she could to get her music out there. They are very similar in that aspect, passionate hard working artists.

Great book and wonderful example of a dedicated artist to her craft but fully conscious of the necessity of being an activist to defend her own rights as a woman, as a citizen and as a great folk singer

The interviewer is so cold, urg. Ani deserved better. I’m loving the book, almost done! 💋

I thought the interviewer was great! She asked questions that I hadn’t heard before and had obviously read the book.

The host has such a serious look on her face. Lol It bothers me. I disgress...Ani! 💙

I liked her, maybe she’s a more serious person than the glib, breezy, and sometimes poorly informed interviewers of today.
