Waited decades for this book and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you so much for sharing your world with us all these years.

Ani, congratulations on this beautiful book , and for sharing your vulnerable and triumphant moments of a life well lived ! Must feel dizzying and shaky taking such a huge leap into what is uncharted territory for you: writing a memoir. You have remarkably triumphed over so much on your Journey!! You’ve always been a gifted writer who mines the depths .... and now your prose writing voice has such a powerful depth & authenticity to it, along with your poetry. You’re a sweetheart ! Hugs & deep appreciation to a brave & joyful girl !

The woman interviewing her is giving me anxiety with the awkwardness

She is not cut out for the 22 question thing...but she rallies. Her favorite super hero is NOT Wonder Woman!?

This lady is awkward as hell and doesn't seem like she knows much about Ani. Asking all these basic, boring questions. Ani, as always, still answers like a best friend that speaks in poetry.

I think Ani feels super awkward and the interview is agonizing. But she did it in a beautiful and graceful way in the only way Ani can.
