Let's be honest, Starbucks can get pretty expensive. $5 for a frappuccino is not always worth it, so here is a copycat recipe to make at home! I made this recipe about a dozen times and perfected it to make it taste exactly the same as the ones served at Starbucks :) Enjoy!

As a starbucks barista & chemistry major, this will be a lot better if you use an emulsifier. If you don’t, you run the risk of the frap turning out separated or having ice chunks. The one Starbucks uses is basically just xantham gum and water which you can probably find at Walmart or Kroger.

I tried it, and here is what I think. It doesn’t taste exactly like the actual drink, which is what I expected. You can defined taste the chocolate chips in it too. It’s really tasty but not a lot like the actual drink. Other than that, love it 😊

Great recipe I enjoyed following it! However I would recommend using more ice than the recipe calls for, slightly less milk, more chocolate syrup (about a tablespoon) and just an idea for decoration: put some chocolate syrup on the inside of the cup to make it look nicer!! 🍫🍦
