Vegan Double Chocolate Banana Muffins | SweetTreats

Replacing butter/oil with applesauce is a great way to healthy your treats up...and the best part about it is that you can't even taste the difference! :D

I apologize for not posting in forever! I went on vacation two weeks ago and then last week I got surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. Currently I'm on spring break recovering but I will try to upload as much as possible! 😘

Yields 12 muffins
Ingredients:
-2 ripe bananas
-1/3 cup white sugar
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/2 cup applesauce (no sugar added)
-1/3 cup water
-1 tsp white vinegar
-1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
-1/3 cup sweetened cocoa powder (vegan-friendly)
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (vegan-friendly)
-extra chocolate chips for topping (optional)
Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes

This is GREAT. I just adapted your recipe cause I didn’t have everything and it turned out awesome still!!! I used .... 3 mashed banana 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 tsp ACV 1 1/4 cup spelt flour 1 tsp baking soda 3-4 tsp raw chocolate 1 tsp cinnamon loved the idea of the vinegar and baking Soda - my vegan muffins have never risen until today - thanks to you!! 🤗💗💗💗

I dont have cupcake cases or a muffin tin.. Can i still make these? If so can i put the batter in a regular cake tin and make it a cake instead? How would cooking time and temperature differ? Thanks!

yes you can! i would still bake it at 350F, but check on it every 10 minutes :)
