Aniki Cosplay Armored Mighty Morphin Red Ranger Unboxing!

I didn't think it would happen, but it did. On November 8th, 2017, I ordered a Mighty Morphin Red Ranger cosplay suit (both the "Armored" version and the regular) from Aniki Cosplay. After 5 years of broken promises and being ghosted on multiple platforms, I was rightfully upset and made a video sharing my experience: • Ordered Aniki Cosplay ... . A few months go by and out of the blue with no prior contact, I get an email stating my suit is ready. And so miraculously, on December 28th, 2022, I received my suit.
First impressions of the suit are in this video, and to summarize... it looks amazing. And surprisingly, it all still fit, which I was worried about after 5 years. Only big immediate downsides are the incredibly poor visibility from the helmet and that I can't properly attach the velcro on the back of the dragon shield by myself. Plus, I wanted to sometimes wear the cosplay as just the regular MMPR Red but there's a velcro piece on the front of the suit for the dragon shield. It is white so it somewhat blends in, but also can be pretty noticeable which is a bummer.
Overall, while the quality of the suit is fantastic, I cannot recommend Aniki Cosplay due to the 5 year long wait that I had. That is just unacceptable and there is no excuse for that. I hear they supposedly fulfill their new Etsy orders on time, but I don't personally have any experience with that and so I urge people to proceed with caution. Leaving all of their earlier customers in the dust is not good business practice, and I can't in good faith recommend them.

@@torinodeguzman4243 Actually from what I'm hearing from past clients, your best bet if you're going to order from Aniki is to order via their Etsy page, so you won't have to make a video. People who order via their Etsy shop seem to be getting their stuff on time or in a reasonable turnaround time vs people ordering from Aniki directly and people waiting unreasonably long periods of time for their orders assuming they ever get their stuff at all. I never ordered from Aniki (and don't think i ever will) but i think ordering via Etsy is more effective than making a video.

Same story here. Ordered a single helmet roughly 3 years and 8 months ago. Posted a full story video here on youtube and tiktok to steer people away from them. I sent them the video (I'll admit, very much out of spite) and to let them know I fully intended to to make sure everyone was aware of their poor customer service. Lone behold, all of a sudden, my helmet was ready to ship about 2 weeks later. I got a tracking number and should have the helmet and an update video posted soon :/

If you order from Aniki directly the turnaround time could be 5-10 years if ever. Sorry you didn't get your suit. If it's any consolation though Hassan probably thought he'd never get his suit so you never know. Hope you get yours or your money back.

Just wanted to chime in an say I've ordered 3 helmets from Aniki - two on Etsy and one through their website. All helmets arrived, the one through their website (Red) took a little over a year. Green helmet was just two months, and white took 4 months. Overall really psyched and happy with them. Glad to answer questions or send photos to anyone who needs reassurance before ordering. I know when I was debating ordering I wished I had someone to chat about the process with. Hassan, your helmet looks great! I'd be a bit more careful with the top if it though!! The way you're opening it in this video was so scary to watch for me haha, they are a bit delicate. Have a few chips on the top of mine from not being so careful at first, I'm sure you've learned by now :). To their credit, Aniki sent along some red touch up paint when I ordered the green one! Free of charge. I think they are trying to do good by their customers, and maybe just get overwhelmed sometimes. Still, 5 years is CRAZY and inexcusable. I think they recently staffed up and had a change in management. For whatever that's worth! Your entire suit is fantastic. That dragon shield is 100 times better than the one in the US footage from the 90s. I think JDF used to call it the pillow.

Just stumbled onto this video out of nowhere so I clicked to watch. I'm very glad you got your order especially after 5 years I mean WTF For Real! Also I see that even with every guys curse of "Dad Bod", that you pulled this off really well. Did you have to hold in your stomach or anything to be able to get in this suit or did it fit you so well like the video shows? Also you could so do b'day parties with your suit. I haven't been into power rangers since the green Power Ranger lost his powers while being imprisoned and that magical candle sapped his power away. Yes I loved the White power ranger but seriously I wish they had kept him as the original green PR! And lastly let me say this, It's absolutely awesome to see another grown man enjoy something so much from his childhood like you seem to. I wonder if you cant get a few adjustments on this suit? Maybe the visor could get replaced with something a little bit higher quality so you can see better. That way you can go show it off without falling over :). Have you tried using the Lightning helmet with the suit? If you are having trouble with the helmet it maybe more worth while to use the other helmet if it's messing with your breathing. As well it can really show how the official helmet looks alongside a non official suit.

All helmets are replica, if we are speaking about "official" we will need to refer to Super Sentai since it's the origin of everything, now Aniki was officialized by Saban back in 2017 as far as we know, but that doesn't takes the fact that they are not in the US or Japan and they failed to deliver the requests on time. I will defintely not recommed to purchase anything from Aniki.

From what I remember the Red Rangers Morpher and coin do not change when he uses the dagger and shield from the Green Ranger. Pretty sure it stays silver. Gotta say that Dragon shield is pretty nice looking though.

You basically received a Dragon Ranger Belt. 10:41 Why would they draw the lines on? 11:22 What kind of material is that? 23:53 You can't see with the helmet on? Wow. That's a hazard waiting to happen. You are better off with the Lighting Collection helmet then. 24:48 Yeah... that's pretty dark! 27:26 It goes over the chin. 30:29 I wasn't going to mention it, but it was some what of a complaint to some people. There has to be some sort of way to actually attach the item to the suit with out the use of velcro. 31:27 It is pretty rigid. I think that on the show, in both Zyuranger and Mighty Morphin, the Dragon Shield is more flexible. Since 2019, I've devoted many hours trying to replicate the process of making a suit on my own because I didn't want to be another number to Aniki Cosplay's record. I will say that the team does great work when it comes through with its orders. However, in an effort to combat the issue with breathing when wearing the helmet, the actual process of making the helmets needs to be reworked. Here's what I have found out on my research. With the Mighty Morphin/Zyuranger design, Aniki's team went by the idea when it was first displayed on the Power Transfer arc when Adam, Rocky, and Aisha became the new members of the Power Rangers. If you go back and pause the video at the moment where the trio looks at Zordon as he welcomes them, you can see the holes in the helmet even for a brief moment as the camera pans in the close up shot. On the Japanese Super Sentai show, Zyuranger, the holes are not on the actual helmet itself, but on the visors on the helmet, it's tiny and you really can't see it unless you really look at the helmet in certain shots. The design makes up for that buy adding a row of 10 holes on both the top and bottom parts, on the side of the visors to increase breath ability. Now, when it comes to the helmet fogging up, I conducted an experiment on why it happened. It all boils down to circulation. When you exhale, breaths come out at body temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. However the visor is a lot cooler than that when the water vapor hits the visor. That causes condensation as they collectively gather on the surface. With the helmet at that size, the average user can only wear the helmet is 5 minutes because the oxygen is actually being replaced by the carbon dioxide gathering inside the helmet. In order to combat that, you will need to invest in a helmet fan with a high R.P.M. to vent the air out. The second method is to buy an anti-fog product and apply it to the inside of the helmet to cut down the condensation problem. These are the ways patrons that bought his helmets combat the issue with visibility and breathing issues. One more thing. When it comes to wearing a body fitting suit, wear a dance belt. A full seated one if you can find one.
