Another cool fact about the Gyroids is that if you place 2 or more of the same Gyroid, they'll have different patterns for each song, from each other with a minimum of 2 per Gyroid type. This means that having 2 of the same Gyroids per song will give you different tempos and beats.

I really love the gyroids in this game, theyre all so cute. My favorite is the squeakoid Also, when displaying them on a wall, they can kinda clip into items placed on the ground near that wall. I think it's really fun to put the gyroids in a bathtub, the clawfoot tub works especially well imo, to give bathroom builds a little more character

I already have 20 different gyroids, but have collected a total of 23, so far. No time travel, I have 2 villagers on my island (giving me 2 Kapp'n tours a day), and I've had rain every single day since 2.0 launched. I also got lucky on a Kapp'n tour and found a rainy island, where I got a fully formed gyroid along with the gyroid fragment. I've been giving my duplicates to friends to help with their collections. As quickly as it's been boosting my gyroid collection, though, I am getting a little tired of the rain on my island. At least 3 of those rainy days were thunderstorms, and they lasted all day, making it very dark, gloomy, and depressing to stare at for hours.

I find rainy days really depressing too, especially if its all day. Maybe living in Scotland doesn't help tbh, as it rains here constantly, especially in winter! I end up closing the game more quickly when it rains all day, than during sunny/dry days 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have Dixie playing in front of a stall where I have a Garden gnome selling popcorn. I put the Alluminoid just in front of them and behind a Festivale drum so it looks like he is actually playing the drums and he sounds like it too. I have a Clatteroid next to him playing the alto saxophone since he looks kind of Reggae.

If you have two gyroids of the same type, and place them near a stereo, they will both follow the music but will follow different lines of music! The programming for these guys is so cool!

The gyroids don't actually sing randomly without a stereo, they follow the song villagers will sing if there's no other song playing. In the game files it's called "Silent" and it's just a recording of silence always playing so that the villagers, gyroids and instruments have something to harmonize over

There IS a limit to how many will stay active on your island, because its a matter of proximity to your character! They'll stop when you get a certain distance away. I found this out today.

I like the new Gyroids alot. They're an improvement over the old versions, though I do miss alot of the old families... I currently have every new Gyroid, except for the Tockoid and Brewstoid, and my favorite one so far is the Wallopoid for the fact that he goes absolutely nuts with music playing.

There is a limit to how many can be active but it has to do with distance, like how Lloyd worked in previous games gyroids will activate only when you're in close proximity so even if you filled an island there'd be a physical distance limit... although what would happen if multiple players are on one island...

Gyroid Fun Fact: If you plant a gyroid fragment on your island and forget about it, gyroids will spawn in random areas on your island after rainy days, so long as you leave the fragment in the ground. So far from what I found, the gyroids that spawn are the ones you already own.

My first gyro idk were an arfoid and a sproingoid. Set them up with KK Ska playing, and it was hilarious. The arfoid went berserk with it! Basically it follows the torn section of the Ska, which is super fast and intricate, so it’s just sitting barking it’s little head off like an over-protective chihuahua. Cemented the arfoid as my favorite one so far.

I was able to get all the gyroids with the help of lots of traders. Acnh is my first introduction to a ac game and I absolutely fell in love with gyroids. Bendoid and squeakoid are my absolute favorites of the bunch. I put them all together in one room and its so cool to hear all the different kk songs and theyre own tune when there isnt music playing

Adding on to #2, speaking from experience: If you've got a song playing outside on a speaker/stereo/record player, they'll play it even if they're nowhere near it. Just like villagers with the Music hobby or otherwise doing a random scripted plaza singalong will sing what's playing regardless of the music player's location. If there's more than one music player active outside, the gyroids and villagers will play/sing the last song turned on. That said, with multiple outside music players active, music box tunes seem to be ignored in favor of other types even if they're the last one activated. Of the various music players I have outside, when I put out a music box as #3, the villagers and gyroids ignored it and continued singing/playing song #2.

Also with wall gyroids and other wall items, they can clip through floor items and maybe ceiling items. I do like the new ones and the two different ways of getting them, but I do miss the originals ones. I would be neat if they brought back the older ones and customizing them lets you get/make the other sizes. Also it would be cool is the newer ones can let you customize their sounds, like higher or lower pitch.

I collect 2 Gyroid fragments going to Mystery islands on 2 characters and have about 30 so far. Each day I water and did up different ones each gyroids have range of different colours. I love the bubbloid but not yet in my collection. Finally decided to get HHP DLC and exercise my creative skills. Love the new updates contents so far there's lots of discover. After 3 stretching sessions Tom Nook sends Leotard by mail.

I don't know much about Gyroids (purpose?), but I've collected several. Maybe 10 or fewer. As soon as I dug up the Oinkoid, I took it to my house, lol. So cute! 🐷 Do the villagers interact with the Gyroids at all? Last night I set out a couple on a table they frequent. I haven't been back to check since.
