Updates I want in ACNH - Villagers not being able to learn other villagers catchphrases or nicknames they came up with for you. Also when they ask to call you something and you say no, you are able to suggest them a nickname for you after that. Nothing is more annoying than some other villagers saying the perfect catchphsre you came up for someone else. - Island hopping so there is so need to go back to the airport everytime you want to visit a new island - Custom designs can be removed from the ground only in the build mode, just like normal paths - Also being able to mass paint paths by pressing the buttom, holding it and moving - You can view and remove villagers gift clothings you gave them from their inventory on harveys island (maybe one per day?). That way you don’t have to give them the same clothes twice because you forgot 😂 and you can make them not wear a certain piece clothing, not the whole outfit they have on. - Brusters cafe has the other NPC’s not yet included in the game visiting it✅❓ - Able sisters shop having a shopping cart and also showing a some kind or mark next to the clothes you already have. - More inventory and custom design space 50/50✅didnt say anything about custom design space tho - Some changes to terraforming to make it not suck so much. Maybe you could draw the terraforming pattern on the ground in some kind of 2D map viewed from the top, then it would mass terraform it. It can even cost some bells I dunno - New furniture✅ - Being able to place matts outside - Some easier way to make villagers leave your island without amiibo cards - Being able to move a bridge, incline or a house by one square. No placing it somewhere else and THEN placing it to the same spot but one square further - You can go to someone elses island and ask their camp visitor to come to your island - More bridges and inclines, 10 is good✅ - Let us put bridges over increased platforms, not just water Well not really everything I wanted 🥲 But I’m stilm so happy I could cry

The base game felt pretty empty as somebody who played all the other animal crossing games, so I’m super happy that everything is getting added and fleshed out. I definitely see myself getting back into this game now. Only update not included that I was hoping for is upgrades to the Nook Mart. I loved watching the store expand and offer more options as the town became more economically energized. There’s also a lot of very small quality of life upgrades that weren’t mentioned that I hope they sneakily add in. Overall great direct, can’t wait to see what the community does with all these new tools :)

The last two things I think would make the game, would be to give Timmy, tommy, Tom, Isabelle, and the able sisters apartments in their perspective buildings so that while the stores are closed, we could still visit them and it would make them seem much more real instead of workhorses. Be able to give them gifts, and become friended. The second thing would be that the villagers interacted more with furniture/objects like they did in pocket camp.. other than that Nintendo did amazing with this!!! I wish the NPC's could have days off too! Every location but the museum already has 2 npc's so one could work while the other was off. Celeste could cover for Blather's, and it wouldn't be much to add another npc to cover for Brewster. I would love to see the NPC's out and about on the island like our villagers. That along with giving them apartments in their buildings would take this game to an 11/10 for me.

Not everything. The upgrades to the Nook Mart aren't around and neither are the island minigames. It's nice that Kapn' is back but his function in New Leaf was to bring you to the island that had minigames and that isn't around anymore. There is a lot more to do in New Leaf than New Horizons still but it's better now than it was. Also yes it's great that the cafe is back but in New Leaf you could work there and give coffee to your villagers. You can't do that in New Horizons.

You just have to pay 50% more money again to get what should have been in the game when it launched. The online expansion pricing is absurd and the 25 dollar animal crossing dlc is embarrassing after a year of waiting for content that existed in previous games. Nintendo online isn't worth the price it already cost due to glaring issues with missing features and generally bad connections. Now they want 50 more dollars a year with no promise of network improvements.

Never knew I would be this excited about NH again. Yeah I have to disagree with that statement. They didnt fix the villager dialogue trees/complexity they had in ACWW which for some people were kinda important because the interaction with villagers are now even more objectived then before. I do am happy for all the other additions, but sadly, it won't get me back into ACNH without that feature in some way. Also kinda stunned to find out that u dont get the option to make dates with other villagers by visitng their house or vice versa like it was a standard in the games before.
