The music from this game is the best out of all the games in this series, in my opinion. I wish we could change the music in current games and that they were just updated versions of older game music or something to add some flare

+Abel Corona City Folk / Let's Go To The City is still a great game. It's the most underrated in the series in my opinion. I'm sick of people bashing on it for being 'too similar to Wild World' even though Wild World was also a good game. By that logic, Wild World is 'too similar' to Doubutsu no Mori e+ (Animal Crossing e+), an Japan-only expansion of the original game with newer things which were pretty much most of the 'new' things that Wild World 'added'.

Man, I love New Year's! On my last New Year fortune (my first and it was in ACWW), when I read the bit that said "Health" I read it. It said: "Health: I detect a cold..." A few days later, guess what I got? A cold. Lame start to 2009. :( Let's hope 2010's fortune is better.

elvisbirth12: When you first start the game up, choose "Before I go." Then choose "sound settings." After you choose stereo or mono, you get an option to set how the animals sound. Change it from "bebebese" to "animalese" and you'll be all set.

GameMasterRoBBo: The GameCube game has a separate post office where you can mail letters, pay your mortgage, and access your bank account. It doesn't have a town fund though. But you will still get an extra bridge at one point, and you'll already have a lighthouse in town from the very start.

Claresworld: I think it's just like the journal. You can write notes in it, and it also functions as a calendar that shows which days you've played.

its the only Day when Katrina is set to come without being a random day, not to mention the only time you'll find her out of her tent in the game, and notice that this is actually the first time she uses something other than her crystal ball to predict your fortune (the effcts are still the same ones as in the tents though)

CourtneeMalakian: I have this thing for my computer called a TV tuner. It lets you plug in the video cable from the system into it, and play on your monitor instead of the TV. It can also record videos, and they come out better than they would with a camera.

Hamtaro6060: You'd probably have to call around to see if any stores still carry them. If they do, it'd probably be around $80-100 for a new one. A used one would cost less, of course. If you have a Wii (or are planning on getting one), keep in mind that it can also play GameCube games. (You will need a GameCube controller & memory card though).

City Folk has many things this game doesn't have, the best being better character customizing and Wi-Fi IMO. What would make it even better would be the villagers actually DOING things on events, like in this game. I hope that in the next AC game, villagers will do things on events. And the Wishing Well should also return.

I missed New Years Day on Wild World last year (I think that was the year I got in trouble and My mother took the game away from Me) but I can't really remember what happens in Wild World for New Years Day or even if there is a New Years Day, anyways I just get so upset seeing both an event for New Years Eve and New Years Day yet we got zilch for Christmas Day and that it was just a normal Day (other than getting Balloon Fight) but anyways this event is pretty fun and its the only *2bcont.*

i would say yes,because since its been out since like 2002 it'll be really cheap (like 20 bucks max) plus its actually a lot better (at least in my opinion) than the DS version mainly because it has the holidays and a better music score. plus when you get the wii version you'll have the whole collection! =D
