Try going to Etsy! I had the same exact problem, so I went to Etsy, and found the Sanrio cards for a reasonable price, and the reviews were all five stars! My target was being really weird, so I gave up after thirty minutes of trying and ordered there. (BUT DO NOT GO TO EBAY! the prices are outrageous and it's a scam. Go to Etsy!)

I actually love how they used villagers of different species for the Sanrio characters. PS, if you leave the campsite and don’t invite them, the next day (If you ignore them the whole day) the campsite villager will be gone, (this does not work for your first campsite villager, you must invite them to move forward) so kids, NEVER FORGET TO INVITE THE CAMPSITE VILLAGER IF YOU LOVE THEM..
