This one hit home with me. My father died when I was 10 and my mom is all I have left and she absolutely loves playing City Folk. She does so much for me, like SO much, and me being a dumbass 19 year old never tells her how much I appreciate her. This changed me. Okay I'm getting tired of people actively trying to debunk this video. So let me explain why you all need to stop that crap: 1. If you stop playing the game for a long time, the in-game 'mom" will not send you presents while you're away. 2. That means that any presents that the guy in this story got after he stopped playing the game for a long time, were very likely sent to him by his real mother. 3. I have proof of this fact too. I recently logged in to ACNL after YEARS of not playing. And I didn't had ANY presents from my "mom" waiting for me. But instead I only had presents from the post office telling me how much money I had in my bank account. 4. Stories like these are not rare at all. There is a sad story on reddit about a guy who was cleaning his father's garage after his dad had passed away. Putting things into boxes to send to a storage unit. He found an xbox still hooked up to an old CRT television set. The guy turned the console up and it had a game inside. I think it was Project Gotham Racing. That was the last game that his father had played on that Xbox. Anyway, he booted up the game and started racing. And he noticed that a "ghost car" appeared. He soon realized that he was racing against his own father. All the tracks had his own records still saved in the game. Dude's father had introduced him to gaming when he was a child. And his passion for games still lived on both with him and in the saved states from original Xbox games that he left behind.
