I don’t think anybody realizes this, but Jarod was a comedy genius using animals. His timing when giving Conan information or when having Conan do things with animals and then inform him of some dangers. 2:22 onwards, is my personal favorite he convinces Conan to go and scratch this lemurs armpit to just 180 with “do you feel the nipples” like what? 😂😂

@@slothbro2740he wasn’t exactly hating, he just wanted to keep up the fast paced nature of the show to keep ratings up and make sure the audiences don’t get bored when it airs. He was far more looser on his TBS talk show and when he shifted to streaming and podcasting. He’s a smart fella and respects the smartness of his audience and did not want to bore them with the animal facts you find on kid shows. Most people know most of the facts the Jarred guy has from his animal planet shows. That said, they did keep interrupting/talking over each other to keep up the chaotic nature of the show.

Even when he's cracking jokes, Conan does it in a respectful manner. He knows how to to be comical in uncomfortable moments, especially the ones with Jarod, and not be over the top and ridiculous. Fallon jumps around and acts so animated that it's just unwatchable. The spectrum is insane with Conan cuddling and actually respecting these creatures on one end, and Jimmy acting like a fool on the other. The Kangaroo segment from back in the in particular changed my view on Conan dramatically. Jarod was on the verge of tears, and Conan was somehow able to comedically shift the vibe without disrespecting him and put him at ease at the same time. Not to mention he interacts with the animals and seems to love every second of it. I'm gonna be sad when I have no more of these to binge watch lol
