I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for about 13 years now, I want to say about 10 years ago at my old very large specialty hospital we treated one of Conan’s dogs. His dog was fine in the end but he did need a procedure and Conan was there every step of the way, usually it will be assistants that deal with celebrity pets. He was a class act all the way, super personable and I remember gave tickets to a show/behind the scenes to the specific doctor/department that helped his pet. What stood out to me is that I happened to be in reception when his dog was discharged and he thanked all of us and even made a hilarious joke at his dogs expense (don’t want to say the joke because it directly references the procedure the dog had and I still feel like that’s patient confidentiality). But anyway, my point is that you can tell his animal love in these clips is real and if you can ever get an insight into someone’s heart it’s through their kindness to animals. Love you Conan ❤

@Broccoly123 that was a King Cobra. They are highly venomous.

@@brokenglassshimmerlikestar3407 I love watching Chandlers Wild Life and Tyler Nolan on KZbin. Both of them own and work with venomous snakes and they would have never had Conan do something like shaking a doll head around nor would they have had that snake near the audience like that. In fact when Chandler shows his king cobra on tours he has the snake enclosed in a room with just him while he holds it up to a plexiglass window for people to see. I don't know where this guy got the idea that the stuff he did would be ok.

I had never seen that king cobra clip before. Completely reckless, especially when he brought it towards the audience.
@TheTIGSY Жыл бұрын
Pretty sure he was just playing it up and had it mostly under control, you can see the other handler is not really bothered by the scene at all so I assume it wasn't as risky as it looked
@SteveRogers0768 Жыл бұрын
@@TheTIGSY it’s definitely not as risky it looked. They drained the cobras venom before the show, so even if it bit someone it couldn’t inject a lethal dose. That being said, the expert was still extremely unprofessional. That is not how you introduce a dangerous serpent to an unprepared individual, let alone an excitable audience.
@SteveBluescemi11 ай бұрын
@@SteveRogers0768I mean... if he was so unprofessional as to handle it that way in front of the audience, can we trust that he was professional enough to properly drain its venom beforehand?
@zelalsukat72876 ай бұрын
@@SteveBluescemithere is no such thing as draining a snake's venom, I'm sorry. That would require actual surgery and to remove their glands
