For those who dislike the ending. Good! This story is not meant to have a happy ending. It is a warning. Question those in power. Do not blindly follow, lest you find yourself worse off than before. The pig's faces changed at the end because they had broken each commandment that had been written during the revolution. They had taken the place of the farmer, that previous generations had fought to overthrow, then they had become the farmer they had once preached against. This is the first time I've heard this story. It was talked about when I was in school, but was not mandatory. If it is mandatory now, that is great. Make sure you heed it's lessons well. Or we ourselves could be those animals, looking through the window at those we put in power as they profit from our labor. In fact, I might say, it's already begun.

The ending isn’t even terrible, it was interesting, endings like these are the kind I like. Shows that nothing is perfect. In my opinion the ending was really great. Shows the cycle how a rebellion will eventually come to its origin place.

The book is meant to represent political life as it is. There is no good ending because of all the corruption in government. It is a comment on the Russian revolution and the state it left Russia in. Orwell is saying that they still have not achieved what they dreamed of. It's just reality.

Arvas Dreven it was unsatisfying to just say that the pigs are now the same as humans, All I know is that it should have been different, more interesting like a loop of the rebellion writing that Benjamin could have been the new old major or some thing, or like leaving it off with the beasts of England song starting a rebellion of “this time do it right”. I was just disappointed with all the build up just to end like that

KZ-97 MX & ATV It’s based on the Russian revolution, and the pigs didn’t turn into humans they just resembled them in the windows so that there’s no difference. Orwell is showing that there’s not a big difference The capitalist west and the communist East

Personally I like the ending it came like full story that they wanted to stay away the humans but now they realize that they actually love the luxury of it so it’s a very interesting ending that every ending doesn’t has to be a very happy ending

I don’t quite like the narrator. He doesn’t seem to know how to pronounce some of the words or names, like sow (he pronounced sew instead of with the ow sound like in ouch). A female pig is a sow not a sew. Minor thing, but annoying when listening to a production.
