This movie is creating a lot of rage among critics and feminists. Misogyny sprayed here and there but if you can separate the work ( music, screenplay and fight choreography) from its ideologies and messages then it is a treat to watch. The most polarising Indian film of the year by far.

That is pretty much established in the movie, he is a bad guy. Only redeeming quality he has, is his love for his family ( that too is toxic sometimes). Director establishes that the main lead is almost villainous.

Seperated the problematic part and I still find the movie to be pretentious and lame. The screenplay is awful, the editing is even worse and the sound mixing is also bad since there's lots of dialogue that cannot be heard properly. Music was good though and the performances as well but my god is the film's screenplay and writing just awful.
