Premium is definitely Mafex and Even Marvel legends blows Multiverse out the water when it comes to the better figures. I think Multiverse are too blocky with the joint breaks in the molds and the hip join is too complex for what it's meant to be. But if Mcfarlane made the Multiverse pinless with new hip tech like hasbro use on Joe's and legends then damn. Legit a perfect line 👌

The design reminds me of the X Men. I only saw him once in stores but don’t know him so didn’t get him. GI Joe has some animals figures too.

All he would have had to do is reuse (with some retooling) the original Red Hood brown jacket. Still love this figure very much! Would love to get a New 52 version. If we were going to get an animal with Animal Man, why not the chimp from the famous Brian Bolland cover?

Also, McFarlane has been doing an admittedly good job of really making the B listers shine. Deadman, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Firestorm, Captain Atom, Black Lightning, Animal Man, Red Tornado! We really need a Guy Gardner (wasted opportunity with new Kilowog mega fig), and a comic Doctor Fate and we have the JLI!
