Yep.. even Cape Buffalo trampling Lion cubs is done for survival against a mortal enemy.. or protecting/obtaining territory upon which their survival may also depend.. like chimps at "war" Humans kill for food and defense.. But also kill for sport.. but in most of cases the trophy is stuffed but so is the hunter.. Sadly.. humans also kill with malice.. hatred based on ideology, race, religeon, a feeling of superiority.. Most humans are good if not over stressed and feel secure in their environment.. this can change quickly so unpredictability is a predictable trait within humans and human society.. Be Well!! 😀

Badgers are ill tempered and scrappy, but for my money the porcupine is worse. A full grown male, (45 pounds) is a formidable creature, who threatens by rattling his spines a little. You'd best pay attention when you hear it. They attack by bowing down in the front a little, then leaping at you while spinning sideways and swinging their tail around toward you. Then the propel themselves at you with their front legs. They can get that tail in contact with you from 8 feet away in a heartbeat. You dont want to ever have to hsve their spines removed.
