He surely doesn't understand the market dynamics, the ppp etc. The budget of Indian movies is low because everything here is wayy cheaper than the US, it's so cheap that even with the current budget of Indian movies (which usually is 10-15x less than that of the US) you can create better movies on grander scale than the US counterparts (not talking about CG cause the tech behind it is not on a very advanced lvl in India but in terms of sets, practical effects, extras etc.) You just need good stories to make something if you have a great idea the budget will be enough to buy or make anything here Should've studied about the market and currencies a bit before making a fool out of yourself in front of the audience

Has anyone here heard of “lost in translation”??? It is a common phrase because it happens ALL THE TIME!!! Not only between languages but also in different interpretations of the exact same dialogue along same people of same race. I don’t believe Frank meant harm, he even said so, “No disrespect”! But no one listens except to what they want to hear!! Thank you for showing this preview because it looks extremely interesting, altho I need to read the subs to make sure. In comparision to big studio hollywood movies, the budget of indian movies are quite less. But most big budget indian movies have a budget of 15 to 50 million dollars US. Bollywood actors do make to the list of richest actors in the world. Recently, Indian movies have advanced a lot in vfx & CG. Do checkout movies like Brahmastra, Robot 2.0, kgf 2, shivaay, bahubali 2 etc. Budget constraints aren't a big deal for indian movies these days but they have to be right in all departments.

Its a 3hr 21 mins movie, probably thats why the trailer seemed like a mix of everything. And yes the father son dynamic is basically the son constantly trying to seek validation and love from his father, who abused him when he was a child. A case of Stockholm syndrome.

This is a proper big budget movie. Not a small indie movie with new actors and directors. Also the budget of this movie is 12 million dollars. But 12million in india is enough to make a good action movie that doesn't depend on cgi and vfx. Here cost of everything is less so i doesn't cost much. But that doesn't mean the quality will be any less. Except cgi and vfx everything else such as big sets, action, explosion, etc can be done within 12miliion. Also this movie is like a mix of action, and drama and emotion. What I think is that it'll start with the dynamic of the father and son that will shape the son to become a criminal or so I guess. Which will then then lead to action. I also noticed a bit of revenge plot going on. If you watch the trailer carefully and know which actor is which then you'll also know what I'm talking about
