Five dogs at one address? They should care about their needs over their own? They are suffering. I wouldn’t be able to sleep from the anguish. I hope there are programs that help with vet bills over there. Thank you for doing the hard stuff in order for them to live better and not hurt. To just posses them is not enough. They come first, like children, as they’re unable to care for themselves.

It’s amazing such a mistreated dog could be such a happy dog. He must have been in such pain. So glad he’s rescued. That poor Brandy looks like she’s been beaten as well as underfed. Gosh, makes me angry that some people neglect their animals like this I hope they have no children. Thank god, that in the uk there are people that care for them. If you cannot afford them find them another home. Sure it sucks but it is the right thing to do. I live in Canada and I think our animal rescue could learn from you. It took me 2 years to get another dog! I need a dog with me and I love dogs, and enjoy teaching them! I’ve taking so many lessons ! The classas keep changing. There was a teacher who was rather heavy, but the best teacher ever! And she was good with dogs . I saw a photo of myself and the dog on TV. Some of the dogs would jump over the pee on the floor! I wish I could find her again!

Most dogs lived, 7, to 16 years ! The one dog who lived for 7 years was a male dog! I cried so much, he was so sweet ! The. One who lived to 16 was the one who was still cheerful and a female ! The dog I have now is 4 years old , a male, labradoodle and the first time I paid and waited for the longest ! This labradoodle cost about three thousand plus! He’s the most we ever paid, and is very, very intelligent !!!! I think the breeder lives in Burlington ! I forgot her name. Tristan is so intelligent and has a brilliant brain! Where I don’t know exactly where the owner lives , but she owns an incredible car, my husband drooled over! I think the price would be over our head now! I did get the name of the doghouse !

with his age he was pretty much always going to be a foster getting end of life care (rotties don't tend to live much past 10 from breed health issues so old boy is actually looking pretty god for his age) and that inevitably just the thing with senior pets, they're lovely but you only get a limited time with them, some more limited then others

I wish animal welfare was taken this seriously here in the states. Many places don't even have a form of animal control and the police can't or just flat out wont do anything about it until the animal(s) are almost dead. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

Some places don't have any form of animal control and that's sad. My dad worked for the Humane Society in Olympia years ago. He had full police powers. On his day off, he and my mom went to look at a dog that was in the newspaper. The dogs (many dogs) were in horrific condition as was the place with dead animals lying around. They left, and as soon as they got home, he called his supervisor. The next day, the place was raided. I have heard the story many times over the years. Sad.

I don’t think a lot of people understand that if you treat your dog for fleas but don’t treat your home they’ll just jump back on them. Sometimes immediately depending on how badly your home is contaminated and what pesticide you use. Every fabric in the house has to be washed in hot water especially the pet’s bedding. And the house bombed. Fleas are one of my worse fears and I don’t even have carpet! lol

My beautiful girl is a staffie whos destined to be a service dog for me. She had a really rough start to life being rescued from a very bad sitch and then got rehomed to me after her rescuers couldnt care for her anymore. Now shes a happy , healthy girl with a bright future as my service dog.

When it comes to my Fur babies ,they eat before I do and I may be crazy but If I couldn't afford food for them and me ,well they'd be eating and I can eat Ramin and I'm perfectly happy with that .They r times where I can't always afford but and I never don't have food for my babies and a few that live outside that I adopted ,I feed them all and it gives me so much joy .It's sad that people just leave their pets to fend for themselves and they do that alot with Kitty's where I live so I have alot of fur babies and I feed them everyday and make sure they have water and flea stuff and worm treatments .I may not be able to have them all live in my home because they don't really want to stay inside but hI would if I could .I adore animals and I don't understand why people wouldn't feed and give their animals water and flea and worm treatments ,that's disgusting .

People need to be able to afford a pet before they take one (or 5!!!) on. It is so unfair to the dogs, and 100% selfish of the human. I would have loved to have had a dog (or 2) when my son was growing up but during hockey season we were rarely him and that’s not fair. Maybe, as I head into the last few years of my life, I should adopt an older dog or 2, now that I have time. It would probably be a great match. I’d love to have Rocky!! He is stellar!!!

Yeah, it's a big problem. Luckily there's flea medication and quarantine protocol for dogs with fleas. At least at my local version of RSPCA. I vibe with the dogs and cats there as a volunteer. Speaking of, now time for the mandatory adopt don't shop speech. If you're looking for a pet, go to the local shelter because the staff and volunteers more often than not know the personality of the animals there. Let's say you want a cuddly cat who is over the extra wild kitten phase, I know 6 cats that fit the description, all who are looking for good homes. 7th cat that comes to mind is cuddly on her own terms. She loves attention, but has a hard limit for it. When she has had enough she leaves to stalk you

We put our long coat chihuahua Bear down February 10th and my girlfriend is having a rough time with it. We started pulling out our Christmas ornaments that we had made for him over the years. I do put on the applications that I have a 18 month old female staffordshire terrier. We rescued not from a rescue but from a bad story of a family leaving a dog and moving out tied in a basement. Her collar was embedded in her neck. So we got a call of the neighbor finding the dog and took her in. She is a great dog. Listens very well and gets along with my aunts 3lb tea cup yorkshire terrier. And my brother in laws 16lb mixed dog. She loves little dogs and think it would do her good to have a partner in crime. ❤

It's so hard to watch these precious dogs be taken away and think what if they aren't adopted and r put down but then they're not being well taken care of in the home they were in ,so very very sad. I understand if U can't afford to take them to the vet and I know how exspensive that is but They should atleast try to get the money for flea stuff and for food enough for that many dogs .The people should have that many if they can't take good enough care of them but it's so very sad .

I am puzzled why these supposedly devoted parents didn’t deal with the fleas and food. Good flea baths and flea collars aren’t that hard. They do cost money but not that much. Then of course comes cleaning the house. Food is more expensive but how could any owner just starve their dogs.

That first couple... wow. Mr. "You've got no chance of us signing [three of the five dogs over]," and Ms. "We'll hide them before you can take them anywhere!!" You have 5 grown dogs in that townhouse, first off, which is way too much, that haven't seen a vet, _and_ you've ignored all advice (and let them deteriorate)?? 4+ months with fleas?? She was being _nice_ in the compromise, letting them keep a very manageable (and realistic) 2 dogs, in the first place!! If they'd been smart, they would have taken the deal, but I'm glad they didn't. Just ridiculous. Poor as I am, my cat has never gone a single day without a meal. _Never._ Those poor, poor sweethearts, I hope all 5 puppies get the love and care they need 💕 EDIT: omfg poor Brandy!! Black squirrels are my favorite!! Mr. Kellogg had brought black squirrels from Europe to Battle Creek, Michigan, to destroy the red squirrel pests. I guess 😂 the black squirrels, are just much more elegant? Like the gorgeous 🥰 Canadian Black Wolves, compared to the California Grey Wolves, or Timber wolves? They all come from the same Wolves. Says the girl, who went to save a badly abused Black Wolf, who's only crime, was that his owners lied about the breed of puppy he was - while in 6 month quarantine! He stole my heart, when I was called, to handle him. They wanted his leash attached. He wanted 💕 & attention, so that was my priority. He was so so happy I spoke softly, sat next to him, that he just plopped down, wriggled onto my lap! I just gave him a good massage, noticed his 3" fangs, then opened his mouth, grunting happily. Yeah - 3" fangs, wow, definitely a Wolf! He stole my heart, my soul totem. I named him, "Shadow." And yes, I danced with him many times. I gained his trust. He made men jump through hoops, for him.
