It's so great that you are growing your own produce! I can't wait until you create more videos about the plants. You should look into grape trees; essentially you are training your grape vines in tree shapes. I have no animal companions, but I do have plant companions, so I am excited to see how you guys will use your produce, not just for yourselves but for the rest of your animal friends. Maybe you can make your own veggie sausages for the iguanas and freeze the extras until you need them.

I'm from the PNW, blackberries are like a weed here (though a weed that gives fruit for amazing jam). They spread easily, get massive, are very thorny, and are extremely hard to get rid of. Pick your planting spot carefully!

Yeh, watch the lizard around your earrings! One of my beardies once jumped from my lap and yanked my sparkly earring out of my ear. Luckily I was able to get it out before he swallowed it but shredded my finger getting it back

Jerry and Kagan you are turning into such an awesome training channel of the complete package of raising reptiles. I wish my climate would sustain the types of plants you are growing. Tracie and I finally got our first snake at Animal Con. She thinks holding it sooths her stress, panic and anxiety. It is a baby hognose. unfortunately it loves burrowing so hides a lot lol. Now I would like another colubrid that I can watch and can live in a 4x3x3 enclosure. Any thoughts? Something that enjoys being handled...

I grow all of the grasses, weeds, flowers, plants, veg for my tortoise. I plant out his enclosure to he can graze i add the trays of food in and have them on rotation so there’s always a back up supply of trays ready to be switched out once he has devoured them all. He also gets some mazuri mixed in. It really saves you from having picky shell babies and they love a wide variety just like us humans. Tres has definitely chosen Kagen as her person 🤣😂🦎I love that she chose to stay in the spot that made it tricky to move her so she could stay enjoying the attention from Kagen, I bet she would wander after her like a puppy like Guapo does with Kenan 🤗🤗

You guys can grow lettuces right now. Flop a large bag of container soil down, cut a big rectangle out and stick some holes right through to the other side for drainage. Wet it down and sow a lettuce seed mix. Flip a clear tote over the top with one edge propped up an inch or so. Water every couple of days, and you'll have organic, harvestable greens in about 3-4 weeks.

I have to say it but in the wild they dont peal fruit so every good reason to beleave they can eat it all my bearded dragon loves the peal as much as she loves the bananas

WILD fruit doesn’t have pesticides, growth hormones, growth retardants for plant height control, wax for preservation, etc. on them. That is what I don’t like on the peel! 🤗

If we all want to be technical half the fruit we feed our reptile friends they don’t encounter in the wild so maybe the banana is a treat 🤔 😊

Thought I was the only weirdo who ate bananas that way. To me, the texture is better and not as starchy vs eating it the way all you cool people do. 🍌😜

Have you guys ever thought about setting up a simple rack system to grow fodder for the iguanas and the sulcattas you hopefully one day get and your birds. You can use pretty much any grain like barely or micro greens. ❤ and after you set up your Kagan will you HELP Kenan set up one?

I don't know how you get the iguana to eat bananas like that. My lewisi doesn't like banana or blueberries, he likes pomogranete but I've read that's bad for them to eat the fruit/Ariel part.
