That reminds me of a 19 yr old cat I had when I was in med school. I noticed he was having a hard time jumping and asked one of my fellow students who was a chiropractor to come treat him. He got down to the lumbosacral area and there was a HUGE crack and my cat purred like crazy, then jumped down and instantly went to sleep under a table. He was still sleeping when I left a couple hours later so I asked my friend to keep an eye on him. Turns out that cat stayed there, conked out, for a couple more hours, then was fine. My chiropractor friend was just amazed that the cat had laid there on his leg and let him adjust him (cats are smart; he knew he was there to help).❤️😻

It is also an instinctual thing for many, not necessarily trained. I've always had a keen eye and instinct when handling cats and observing small changes in their behavior. But my family is often surprised the things I can notice or understand well ahead of everyone else. I get compliments from my vet for the sharp eye because I've spotted things in the early onset that could have gotten really bad if overlooked. If you watch your cats closely you can understand so much about what is going on! They don't talk but their behavior can display any problems. One of the most amazing parts of owning animals is how much you, and the animals, learn to communicate over time. Both you and the animal learn each other's cues and form your own special 'language' together. It's amazing, and it allows you to interact with them so much more freely, since eventually their body language because second-nature to you. I couldn't let them kill him...so I gave the shelter a deposit to keep him alive until they could come to my home to make sure it would be a "fit" home. Fat Cat was total love. Western medicine is a scam. It's a money dwindling business that does not care about you. Only whats in your pockets and how much they can mess your body up more so that you're stuck in a vicious cycle of debt and pain. I've seen doctors try to break people's spines and pin them back with rods. When in reality, with a good Chiro and massage, that person's spine no longer needed the surgery that was suggested. That first clip of you negotiating with Venus is amazing. Shows so quickly how you connect with animals, its fascinating.

What I found out while working with cats is that they tell you if they need help or not. Because she stayed so relaxed, that's a way to show that they need working on. The first visit she licked her lips after the shoulder ajustment, so that was the biggest one of all. At the second visit, she clearly said that she had enough and didn't need anything more🤭. You camera woman is a real cat lover. You love all animals, but favor dogs more. Dogs are more predictable then cats so I get it totally. Still you give good vibes! They are in charge and that is the way to go with royalty😂. You helped her royal highness with her problems and now you are excused😸 Great job once again doc 😘

We have 11 rescue cats in residence, and two foster cats, that we share our home and life with. Have been working with cats my entire life. And I feel compelled to comment on your work here with Venus. (What a sweetheart ❤️) Because….You’re wonderful with cats! Many vets and animal practitioners, sadly, are NOT. But you understand their language and how to communicate with them. Including the slow blink and nod, the calmness that makes them stay calm, slow assured movements, you’re not afraid of them (this causes them to have enormous anxiety because YOU ARE anxious, and sometimes even leads to fear aggression) and you really know how to use appropriate touch with them. I was enormously impressed. I give my cats massages at home but have never had them in to a chiro. Nice to know that if they should ever need it, you exist. 😂🤣😻😽

I find this so adorable, she's such a well natured cat and you can tell she loves her human! I was honestly surprised she didn't jump or try to squirm away with the snapping towel example. Your way of handling her was also so well done! Thank you KZbin reccomend 😆

I loved the way you talked with the cat natural and went down to their level. I'd trust my cats with you (even if they won't trust you lmao) you talked to them in a very 1 on 1 situation. The cat wasn't the 3rd wheel.

Seeing these videos is always a good reminder that our animals can’t tell us when and where they’re hurting and that we need to occasionally check in on their bodies for signs of pain and take them to the vet for check ups even when they seem fine
