While it may be related to a couple of common herbs, this trippy plant is anything but ordinary. This is Salvia.

Worst trip I ever had. Was in the car with a couple friends and I swear to god I thought I was an alligator. It was as if I had been an alligator my entire life and I was so scared and confused as to where I was- like, my brain had entirely forgotten every human experience at the point. Being in a car was so scary I had no idea what it was. 0/10, would never do again. I think I actually swapped souls with an alligator during that time.

Psychedelics killed my drug and alcohol dependencies - one trip two years ago to purge my depression and chronic anxiety from my system was the best decision I ever made. I've done psilocybin mushrooms a few times since, but after my last high dose trip I realized that the medicine has taught me enough for now. I might return to psychedelics later in my life if I ever find a source.

Smoked salvia once and was whisked into space where I visited the Maker who began to disassemble me pixel by pixel to reincorporate me into the universal consciousness. I politely declined and then some time later gravity reasserted itself and I was back in my body after 5 minutes. After that round of experimentation even the experienced psychonauts I was with had no desire to go back to it. Good times.

The pixelation seems to be a recurring theme with Salvia. In my case, I was torn into a million little pieces beginning with my arms and legs, from what seemed to be a black hole behind me. Then I was cast into a desert landscape with cacti everywhere. It was so weird I tried to fight it. As I was fighting it seemed I was a 2 dimensional sticker of myself, peeling off of a page on the book of reality. I successfully snapped myself back to reality by will power alone. Or did I?

I was a fan of trip reports a few years back. What became obvious is that Salvia trips and Datura trips were the worst. At least with Salvia you still have some control over yourself. With Datura people seem to black out during a crazy trip only to wake up and find out that they had attacked someone or tried drinking gasoline. Perhaps Datura should be in the next video? 😂

My wife and I ordered salvia seeds from an organic seed distributor that offered rare and unusual seeds about 10-years ago. We looked it up and found out that it could have psychedelic properties but didn't know what parts of the plant could be used or how to use it. We were honestly not that interested in try it anyway. The plant grew well, and, on a whim, we entered it, along with some other unusual flowers we grew, in the fair that year. As I recall, the salvia got a blue ribbon. I was really hoping one of the display organizers or another exhibiter would ask us about it, but they never did.

Every time I've tried Salvia, it messed with gravity. It always made me feel like gravity doubled or tripled. I've seen it not affect some people, make others break out into a cold sweat, gravity turned sideways for one guy, and only 1 person out of a group of about 10 actually had a hallucination. He started screaming at someone because the other person was about to turn a ceiling fan off, but the person having the trip thought the other person was going to turn the light off. He also said he saw the floor cracking open, the devil breaking through, and the devil trying to grab his dick, so I dunno. I never saw anything, just had gravity messed with. Having said that, I'll never do Salvia again. Not a fun time.

It felt like my mouth opened 360 degrees, then when my the back of my head hit my lower jaw... I wound up on a rainbow bridge. It felt like I was sliced into thin slices and pushed through the spectrum of color. I arrived in a tool music video. The colossal pillars shaped like Buddha's and the shimmering mass in-between turned all of its eyes in my direction. And told me I wasn't supposed to see this yet. Then in that moment I knew everything.... which immediately started slipping away as I returned to my corporeal vessel. All cold and sweaty I returned finally able to articulate that my mouth tasted like moth balls.

Having experimented with everything other than Iboga and Ayahuasca this one here definitely gave me what I could only explain as an Out-of-body experience as well as an intense flash-back to a moment in my childhood so vivid I swore I was there. It was easily the most powerful and shortest of such experiences.

Omg Salvia was the biggest mistake I had ever made, ... all three times. Each time the trip was longer, hallucinations were far stronger, and each time I lost more and more of my grip on reality up until the last time during the trip I couldn't grasp that I was tripping and what I was experiencing wasn't real. Not only is your perception affected with hallucinations but your motor functions can also be affected. Each time I lost all ability to walk or even move to that matter, freezing and collapsing into the floor believing that the floor was eating me, and my speech was slowed so drastically my friend thought I might have had a stroke or something. Believe me there wasn't a single aspect of this that I found enjoyable. Afterwards I would be physically exhausted for days also. Every friend that would trip with Me had a horrible time also. This wasn't even the strongest extract that was being sold at my local smoke shop either at the time and generally a weekend extract. Not fun, a unique experience but not fun. Honestly it wasn't that far from an experience I had with ayahuasca.

Once you don't know you are tripping anymore, that's the break through experience. Time ceases to exist and then the line shreds the universe apart around you over and over again.

@@mikeos6666 Maybe, but it's definitely not an experience I personally enjoyed or one that I would even recommend to someone else. If the experience wasn't filled with such harsh, horrific visuals and delusions than perhaps it wouldn't be so bad. This was by far the only substance I have tried that really messed with my head, even after the trip was over.

I remember back in the day about ten years ago buying salvia online while it was literally in the process of being banned state by state. The state I lived in, Colorado, was actively in the process of banning it, following suit of other states that had already banned it, so I was one of the last people to order it online and have it delivered in the mailing system legally. Man, was that a wild and intense couple trips we went on. It was fun, but I don’t know that I would ever want to do it again if given the chance.
