The ending always gets me. Shut up, I'm not crying!

Late but still relevant to me. I always cry a bathtub at the end of this song. I dont know what it is, but to me its some of most powerful music I ever heard. Love to you.

@@suspendedandfaraway have felt the same thing from other pieces of music, it’s not so much crying a bathtub as it is empowering for me anyways. But I know the feeling! Especially for the ending

There's nailing something and then there's this - mastery. Much respect, been waiting for someone to do this.

I've always wondered how the beautiful last solo line is played and this video ended my curiosity - thanks Yohei! I walk humming this line a lot lol.

Seems like Animals As Leaders uses a good deal of delay in their riffs to give the illusion of it being a lot more busier. Then again I could be wrong but it does sound that way
@miguelbonilla87914 жыл бұрын
actually, lots of hammer on, Tosin calls it "selective picking"
@jonathantrujillo9903 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I fast forward this song just to hear the outro shhhhh
That chordy part at the end will always sound like a guy trying to clear their throat while cleaning big copper springs with slightly smaller aluminum springs. The almighty door stop flop n scrape. Sounds like man hands literally scraping the bottom of a barrel.

why do you jump to the previous string to play a half step up from the octave hammer on on the main rhythm riff? or am i missing something
