They are banned in some countries. The main issue is that they are terribly cheap. I remember seeing a glue trap to catch birds. The poachers used them and if a bird was coaght, they just toook the bird. Leaving the birds lower limbs sticking on the stick... Humanity is a true horror show sometimes...

In response to the bumble video...every afternoon after returning from work I would go out front to change the water in the bird water bath I had for the birds. In TX the water can get to hot. So many times I would find 'drowned' wasps. The water bath was ceramic and slick. I went to a home store and bought the type of stuff you would use for the bottom of your tub or for your steps ....can't think of what it's called. I cut it into pieces and lined the outer rim and just below it. Never found another dead wasp! They justed needed something to 'grasp' onto while dipping their faces into the water for a drink!

@ 7:06 you show someone removing a kitten from a glue trap. I think of people did it on purpose so they could make a video rescuing the cat. For one thing they don't remove the kitten from the glue trap the right way. Instead of pulling it off of the trap and ripping its fur they should have brought it to a vet. There are many unscrupulous people that will put an animal in distress in order to rescue it to make a video. Just like all those people who rescue baby monkeys when truly they are the ones kidnapping them and making them suffer.
