Haven’t been able to find catnip in Spain, there’s only “cat grass” that’s actually regular edible grass for cats that grow from seeds and soil in the container it’s sold. I usually drink valerian infusions before going to bed and I discovered my cats got high like with catnip, so I usually let them play with the used tea bag or even the tea bag paper and they have a lot of fun! Probably a cheap substitute that both of you will end up using.

My cat would pee after being exposed to loose catnip. Catnip toys were okay. But loose catnip ALWAYS made him pee on the bed/floor/couch/wherever. He was not the type of cat to pee on anything and he only did it after being exposed to catnip. So needless to say....we tossed it. Lol Never did it again afterward.

@@timetravel9035 Not all cats react that way. Just start with a little bit, maybe you can try it out in the form of spray or the catnip bubbles instead of loose catnip. But again, start small, gauge how your cat reacts to it. Most cats handle it just fine.
