I’m having trouble with this. When I draw in the layer mask, it appears very faded gray instead of the actual color of my image. Any tips? Thank you!

Hey Caitlin, It may have something to do with onion skinning. When onion skinning is turned on, it shows you the previous layers and later layers in the animation. Check the settings in the animation panel and turn it off to see if that's it.
