I've never been an apple fan, but damnit, now I want an iPad pro and procreate!

I am not a crApple fan, but you really can't beat the iPad for drawing as of yet. So I buckled and got one and haven't regretted it. I still am not an Apple fan, though.

Oh my gosh! So true...I'm not an Apple fan either.. but Procreate and these videos made me get an iPad! And I'm loving it!

Great tutorial, but I didn't see at the beginning where you added an extrusion layer? I followed along, and all of a sudden you have one extra layer at minute 3:09. Did I miss it?
@EveryTuesday4 жыл бұрын
I had added in some shading to the extrusion, but when I edited the video, it wasn't even visible in the recording and didn't affect the final outcome, so that's why you can see an extra layer listed, but it's def not necessary. Apologies for any confusion!

I have the same problem :(
@sandraangelkiss4 жыл бұрын
what about having a white background while you do all the shading lol so we can see the changes happening , then at the end you can turn black

I'm at 5:04, at the thumbnail option. I don't have the Foreground/Background options. I've accidentally deleted my project a couple of times. (Thank you, UNDO!) Has something changed? Still having a TON of fun with your tutorials!
@EveryTuesday4 жыл бұрын
Hey Sonia! I'd do a quick check to make sure you're on the latest version of Procreate - that's the likeliest solve!
@Storyteller_iyagikun4 жыл бұрын
If you don’t group the layers, or have an invisible(un-checked) layer underneath the group that you’re trying to use as a background the option won’t appear. It seems the layer/group has to be the _lowest_ one to become the background. Probably the same for the foreground option, I assume. Had the same problem, so hope this helps!!

This was a great tutorial! I’m trying to figure out why it’s including my background in the animation. I have twinkles working as they should but since the picture behind them is included, it only flashes on the screen occasionally like the stars do. :/

thank you so much for sharing👍🏻❤️that’s amazing i really love your videos, is it possible to make a video comparing between animated gifs and animation assist please? i’m still really confused 😞

For the button background I couldn’t find it in the frame options?
@itcouldvebeenbetter22 күн бұрын
I looked it up and apparently you need to bring the image you want as a background at the bottom of your layers, so you will have your layer on top of the background layer and go back in your animation and select background. For anyone else that is wondering the same thing.

Thank u for another great video!! Can't wait to try :) I was wondering if you could do a video on putting fonts on cellphone videos to upload to Instagram. I wonder if this can be done on procreate..? Was searching for videos online but no tutorial explains things like u do 😂

That's so cool, Teela! I always loved your videos - I've been a long time fan ❤️. Do you have a mini tutorial on Pro-create for beginners? I just bought an iPad but I don't know where to start with Procreate.

Can you slow down , I am a senior , retired , and after caring for women, infant, and children for 30 years this stuff has almost passed me by. I don’t have anything ,but an iPad and procreate on it. I don’t have a lot of money to buy equipment , etc, but I like to watch you teach. I am just lost. Any suggestions beside give up !?!?

Hey Dee! Check out my Procreate for Beginners course if you haven't already (it's free): learn.every-tuesday.com/procreate-for-beginners/ I also recommend watching my videos at least twice: the first time to get an idea of the scope of the project and then the second time to follow along, creating the project with me. If it still feels too fast, you can adjust the playback speed by hitting the little gear icon in the lower right corner of youtube's video player controls and choosing 'playback speed'. I hope that helps!
@histolingo1624 жыл бұрын
Hey Dee, you can change the speed setting while watching the video, if you set it to a slower mode it would help you
@DoodleBugLisa4 ай бұрын
Please excuse me, but… You’re obviously very talented, but you’re going way, way too fast. You’re not explaining what you’re doing and you’re doing things in a complicated way. I know how to use Procreate, and I’m baffled. I’m here to see how you do sparkles. Very cute, btw.
