I was so frustrated about this whole frame symbols and how the time line behaves. All KZbin tutorials just skipped this section like we already know them. But you saved the day. Thank you millions of times.

Thanks for the info. Thumbs up. One thing though: too many KZbinrs spend around a minute explaining what their headline already says. Nobody is listening to a full minute explanation of what's upcoming before deciding whether or not to continue. I want to learn more about keyframes, so I clicked the button but then have to listen to someone go on and on about what's in the video. You've already closed the sale so there's nothing more to gain at that point. It's like being done with your meal but you have to wait for too long to get your bill.

Hi! I like the way you keep the repeating the differences between those types of frames. It helped me a lot! Anyway, I was wondering how to enable the "Expand frame Span field." I often needed to extend a frame to a couple more seconds and it annoys me how I can only drag the edge of the frame to expand it. I looked up online and the Adobe page says that it's actually possible to simply type in how long I want the frames to last. I don't have that icon to the left of the Visibility toggle on the Layers section. :-(

What does it mean when the box that marks the end of the span (the one that's useless you say) what does it mean when it's filled in? I'm following school bookwork and I'm asked to create frames for a static background and in the example picture, that box is solid black, not hollow. When I inserted the frames I got the box but it's hollow.
@snorklTV
@snorklTV 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I’ve never seen that. With a static backround you you would have a filled keyframe in the first frame and regular frames after that. Last frame would be the hollow rectangle.

Hi. that's very strange. I don't know why you would have any colored frames unless you were adding classic tweens or shape tweens. I would quit Animate, re-open, and start with a new file.
