I just got this but, how do you get for the animations to play? How can you "tell" the token who's the target?

@@azertyqwertyh3337 I used a module called Easy Target, that makes it easy for you to "target" a token. This is displayed as the arrows pointing towards the targeted token. Then, as the animation plays, it'll go from the Source Token (the one that attacks) to the Targeted Token.

You target tokens by hovering over the intended token and hit T, hold shift and do the same for multiple targets.

While probably not, that is an interesting idea. Valve allows the Dota sound effects to be used for non-commercial use, so they were fine for us to use. If BG3 allows the same, it would be good to have the closest thing we currently have to official sound effects for D&D spells. But again, I don't believe it's likely at least for me to do it.

I created an action on the monster that doesn't do anything but has an animation override for the effect I want. Then I put it on my hot bar where I edited the macro to include code that toggles the visibility state of the token. The screen I recorded was with a player account so details such as hidden monsters would actually be hidden. I performed all the actions on a second screen. Had to get some friends for some of the sequences lol
