I would google "Indigenous peoples of the Americas" it's possible that most fled south. You have 5m in the US, but 55m are scattered between Mexico and South America. They fled South to avoid extermination.

Not even a mention of the six million Italian immigrants that arrived here between 1880 and 1930, despite the Johnson-Reed Act (Immigration act of 1924) which specifically targeted Italians and Jews for exclusion. Many died in Hitler's Europe as a result. Others immigrated to South America. It wasn't "Europeans" who immigrated here in the Great Wave of Immigration. It was predominantly Italians. Jews were second. Italians were fleeing famine and extreme poverty resulting from a series of natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, drought, etc.) as well as oppressive landowners exploiting the cheap labor of peasants, paying them starvation wages. And even though Italians were subject to oppressive working conditions in the USA (we were the lowest paid laborers in the 1910's), violence, exclusion and oppression, they still came.

If their willing to make their own way... I shouldn't have to pay for them. They took the risk for opportunity, same as everybody else. People coming from Europe came with nothing but a few suitcases and trunks, not a single consideration that they would be cared for... And they built Guilded Age New York. Also a keynote here... the embargo on immigrants was mainly on Italians and Eastern Europeans... Italians used to have problems and the Mafia and rackets (co-ercing family businesses with "Racketeering") "Originally and often still specifically, a "racket" referred to a criminal act in which the perpetrator or perpetrators fraudulently offer a service that will not be put into effect, a service to solve a nonexistent problem, or to solve a problem that would not exist without the racket. Particularly, the potential problem may be caused by the same party that offers to solve it, but that fact may be concealed, with the specific intent to engender continual patronage for this party."

Some were nomadic tribes, others were sendentary tribes, others were federations, others were city states, others were kingdoms or empires. In any case they were nations, and were recognized as such by the europeans and later the americans and are recognized as such by modern day academics (and i don't mean those "women studies" retards, i mean serious academics like anthropologists, archaeologists, historians, filologists, etc). The native american nations acomplished A LOT of things, but also fought each others and devastated each others, just like the europeans, just like any other human civilization. The europeans were more technologically advanced, yes, but that doesn't mean that you can just disregard evrything the indians accomplished. The europeans didn't live away from them, they colonized directly in their lands.

Native Americans were immigrants at one point. Nomads til they found their place like all humans have done in the past.

Shame what many families never realize is when you come to America tradition is lost I am thankfully not one of those but my cousins they can’t understand a word in our family native language... I have to translate everything with them and with the high Italian community I live in they aren’t Italian (neither am I) they don’t know Italian and many don’t take pride in that country and don’t even learn it when offered as a class.... American dream a beautiful thing but it’s sadly a killer of the past...

Native Americans are also immigrants. They came to America from Asia through Bering Strait. So yeah, Native Americans are immigrants like everyone in USA but they're came just earlier, that's only difference. So only some kinds of animals and plants are truly native species in USA. Every humans are immigrants in both America. :-)

Exclusion Act of 1882 was one of the stupidest law ever. It banned Chinese from entering the US for 60 years. If such law never existed, today’s Chinese American population would be equivalent to that of the blacks. A larger Chinese American population would make America much stronger in almost all aspects, especially when it comes to education, technology and economy. Think about this.

Are you implying that Chinese people are smarter than black people? If so, go to Hawaii, you will see plenty of Chinese people with the same education level as a black person in a low income area. Today’s Chinese immigrants are not the same as the immigrants from 1850’s, but give any immigrant 100 years, and you will see that everyone becomes American. That intense rigor that your talking about is the immigrant drive for a better life. Which goes away after two generations. I don’t think you realize how your mind is forming these micro aggressions. As a Mongolian, I will say that I have met plenty of brilliant black scientists as much as Chinese. Race is a social construct. We need to build each other.
