Animated Short Film: "Spring"

Please check out this animated short film "Spring" about the story of a shepherd girl and her dog, who face ancient spirits in order to continue the cycle of life. This poetic and visually stunning short film was written and directed by Andy Goralczyk, inspired by his childhood in the mountains of Germany.
The Spring team used the development version of Blender 2.80 for the entire production, before the software was in official Beta even. As for all of Blender’s Open Movies, the entire production process and all its source files are being shared on the production platform Blender Cloud.

I think the concept of this movie is if you want to watch spring in your life than you should face darkness before light and you should fight with that darkness.I think before ease God send hardship toward us when we face that darkness that give us strength and bravery this darkness is also blessing becuse it hold great reward like in this animation winter hold water in the form of ice and when that darkness gone that ice bloom flowers (blessings) in the form of water.

I understood this story to mean we are connected with everyone and everything, we all have role to play. I didn't see the tree cloud creatures as scary or harmful at all; they and the girl -- and the dog -- treasured the ritual and the much needed "crystal" they willingly gave her before she led them ceremoniously to their migration route. I adore this wee film !!

This is such a great short film, all of my students love this movie. I use it to teach them actions and seasons, it's a powerful way to teach them how to communicate their thoughts as they see them in their mind, this way they rarely forget.

I LOVE this so much!! You must face your demons in darkness before you reach the light of your Spring…where you are meant to be. I love the ending when she placed the twig she used to fight the demon in the long hanging vine representing all other demons she has fought and conquered in her life. They all hang there swinging in unison and singing the melody of her bravery and courage.

The quality of the animation in this short is impressive. I became fond of the characters in the first few seconds of the short film and immersed myself with the story in a way that I didn't get in many movies. The cinematography is beautiful and although it has only been 7 seconds it gives me the impression of having seen a blockbuster. Congratulations! \

Amei a curta metragem da Primavera, observei que passamos por um processo obscuro, onde vc sente: o medo, frio e a sensação de que tudo está congelado. Quando fechamos os olhos, com a certeza de que podemos enfrentar o medo e fazer com que em nossa volta possamos floresçer. Acreditar que juntos, samos mais fortes a qual o cachorro destemido e a coragem da menina de enfrentar o lado obscuro da floresta, fez com que eles trouxeram naquele pico da montanha tudo como era antes.
